I got my River Country Trekker 2 on Amazon a few years ago for $60. It seems they no longer sell on Amazon but you can still get it directly from them for like 70. I used it for backpacking and hunting for 5 years before upgrading to a Zpacks Duplex this summer. It's a really well made tent that I got a lot of good use out of. It won't compete with a DCF ultralight, but for a 10th of the price you get a reasonably backpack friendly option with a full bathtub floor, the option to pitch with either trekking poles or a ridge line, room for two or very comfortably one plus gear, and while it's not a two-layer tent, it has enough ventilation that I never had any issues with condensation in both hot and cold weather. Whether it's best for you is a judgment call, but you could do a lot worse than taking a look. If you don't mind spending a little bit more money, OneTigris and A few other popular budget equipment brands should be looked at as well.
I think the river country "trekker 2" is more attractive than "rc palace" model you mention. "T-" is lighter & cheaper. Tha more widely available "stansport" two-pole puptents are I think even cheaper-- and roughly same idea.
The trekker 2 is cheapest and lightest of the three RC choices. It's also what I'd choose from among the three. It's not as nice as many other comparable tents that are vastly more money. But is nearly as light and in narrow, practical terms, "gets the job done" mainly as well as the others. Is more spacious than many of its higher-priced ("better") competitors. The heavier River Country 2.2 adds side vents, which would be very unwelcome in a cool/cold breeze. Good if you're with a cigarette smoker I guess? These vents may also let in mist in a heavy, blowing rainstorm (when a floor sewn directly to waterproof, canopy roof is a great and simple convenience). Idea is to vent away condensation. Yet very often, condensation is not an "issue," especially in solo use. The Trekker Palace design is addressing same "problem" even more elaborately, at a weight "cost" that is almost prohibitive. The stansport puptents (two models) look similar functionally, and are even cheaper, such that they are nearly "disposable" like diapers.
