Most couples who buy a 2p end up using it like 2 people, 0 gear inside. It works, but it's cozy in the literal sense: two pads pressed together, you both wake up when one person rolls, and there's not much space to sit up/change without bumping each other. Looking at those drawings, the 2p inner width around 125cm is basically made for two narrow pads, not two comfy pads.
