r/overlanding • I'm tired of the setup/breakdown of my 23Zero tent - what better options are there? ->Roofnest is legit. I had one for several years and only sold it because it was too large for just 2 people (condor xl). I'd only suggest getting an aluminum shell bc the plastic shells tend to lose some of the plastic clear coat if not garage kept.
r/overlanding • Nestroof vs Topoak roof top tents ->I had a condor a couple years ago and loved it. I ended up selling it with my truck a year ago but I've seen the new versions of the falcon and the Condor at expos and have to say I really like those tents! I would get one for sure if I was in the market
r/rooftoptents • Recent Roofnest Review? ->I have a Roofnest. I really want to be able to recommend it. I have used it a lot in many weather conditions, very cold, windy, rainy, and hot. A side wind with rain produced some leakage. Had some other issues as well. I have been a little disappointed in customer service. It’s not terrible, but not exactly what you would expect for spending $4k on it. I think it’s improved over the years, my tent is a few years old now. I still use it a lot.
r/rooftoptents • Best RTT for winter camping? ->Agree with everyone, we are hitting 60 and have had ours for 4 years now. We love it. My daughter and her fiancé have had there's a lot longer out in Utah. They are very comfortable. I get my best sleep when we go out. We also love winter camping with our electric blankets. We put solar on top of our RTT. We got a Roofnest and have had no problems.
r/rooftoptents • Are roof top tents actually worth it? ->My roofnest is peeling as well. Which bed liner spray did you use?
r/overlanding • Nestroof vs Topoak roof top tents ->I had a roofnest and it’s kindve falling apart. Looking at front runner now
