I used a Kodiak Canvas - springbar style tent. It's not too heavy (65lb), breathes somewhat (keeps heat and humidity in-tent manageable), sets up in 5 minutes, and ate the rain and wind storms with no issues. It's a tank. Also, the internal space is great, and I'm 6'2" 205lb. With the poles in a separate bag, you can check the two bags for no extra cost. Also, $700. Big advocate.

Go spring bar canvas like a Kodiak and if you take care of it your kids will be using it with your grand kids. Wind proof, rain proof, super easy to set up. Cons, expensive, and heavy.
