I have a soul 200 and 300 that I use a lot with my middle child. The big benefit is the groundsheet is tough as old boots. The bad. Inner pitch first and a crap porch. It's perfectly adequate for November camping, especially in campsites. I'd think twice about it wild camping on summits though. Been in the 300 with the middle child in snowdon during 30mph winds at times the poles were touching our chest, but it didn't break snap or anything. It remained waterproof. I have better tents but find myself grabbing the 300 a lot. (I would say like most tents the 3 man's are 2, the 2s are 1 and kit.) There are lots of better tents out there, but thats a great budget tent.... unless you can get a banshee. That's a well regarded budget tent.
I'm assuming you're UK? Something by Vango or berghaus from GoOutdoors will do you fine. No reason to spend money if you don't need it (I killed a Vango tent in 3 weeks last year though so if it's more than an emergency tent then you may want to) Warning - last year camping in the black forest was near impossible without booking. I crossed it twice and it was slammed everywhere. The Vosges in contrast was lovely. Nice and quiet by school holiday standards so I'd head there first.
