I have a small tent (Vango Starav 200) for me and my dog, but when I go out with the kids hiking and wild camping I use an OEX Jackal III tent - which splits into two, so works to a certain degree but also is fairly tight when you add the sleeping pads. Any other ideas?
r/Ultralight • What tent do people use when they hike with their kids? ->I might actually do it the other way around and sell the Vango and get a xmid 2 instead. That will cover my son and me for hiking and camping and when we need extra space I can either just take the oex or both the oex and xmid
r/Ultralight • What tent do people use when they hike with their kids? ->Look at the vango starav it pitches outside tent first same style as that tent it does me good and enough space for all my gear
r/wildcampingintheuk • Tambu Kutir 2.0 tent - is it any good? Suspiciously cheap? ->If you're happy with the Vango Starav get a second and set them up with the doors facing, and then set a tarp up over the gap. Easy to break down for carrying, and makes it feel like two bedrooms of a single big tent rather than sperate ones.
r/Ultralight • What tent do people use when they hike with their kids? ->Naturehike or any vango within budget. You won’t go wrong with vango. My first wild camping tent was a vango and it lasted years. I was going to get it repaired, I loved it that much but now use a terra nova or wild country helm.
r/wildcampingintheuk • Looking for my first 2-person tent for camping/backpacking. ->I'm assuming you're UK? Something by Vango or berghaus from GoOutdoors will do you fine. No reason to spend money if you don't need it (I killed a Vango tent in 3 weeks last year though so if it's more than an emergency tent then you may want to) Warning - last year camping in the black forest was near impossible without booking. I crossed it twice and it was slammed everywhere. The Vosges in contrast was lovely. Nice and quiet by school holiday standards so I'd head there first.
r/motocamping • Best emergency tent for motorcycle trip in Europe ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
