Hi all, Hoping you can advise me on what tent to buy next, the criteria are: • Under £200 • Less than 2kg • Packs down small I'll be using it for wild camping and climbing/mountianeering trips both in the UK and the Alps. Therefore must fit inside a rucksack and have room for me plus my kit. I'm 6'2" and relatively slim. Any recommendations would be highly appreciated, even if they don't strictly meet the criteria. Additionally if you know of any deals at the moment that would be appreciated. I currently have a Vango Tay 300 which I love but is proving to be too lumbersome to lug around when not at a campsite. Thanks in advance EDIT 1: Appreciate that this is a lot to ask, pack size is more important than weight so happy to go over the weight limit. EDIT 2: Will be used in summer months, needs to be able to put up with strong wind and some rain but freezing conditions are not an issue EDIT 3: Appreciate that this is a tight budget, please feel free to suggest things which are over budget or tents which compromise on some criteria

I'm assuming you're UK? Something by Vango or berghaus from GoOutdoors will do you fine. No reason to spend money if you don't need it (I killed a Vango tent in 3 weeks last year though so if it's more than an emergency tent then you may want to) Warning - last year camping in the black forest was near impossible without booking. I crossed it twice and it was slammed everywhere. The Vosges in contrast was lovely. Nice and quiet by school holiday standards so I'd head there first.
