Aerospeed 10

We have owned 2 inflatable tents (zempire 10 person and a Dometic 4 person). The thought of going back to a normal dome tent and fucking around with poles is incredibly off-putting. Buy once, cry once. They're quick and easy to put up and down, never had one deflate during the night. The newer low end zempire are not so good from what I have heard which is why we went with the Dometic this time, zero regrets

If anyone is looking for an air tent I’ll point out a few flaws in this design to look out for. I work in sales, and am very critical of anything air related for use in the outdoors. Too many hard corners. These are all places the tent will buckle, push on the side of the tent and I guarantee you the walls will fold over. A good design should have sloped walls and curved beams so that forces are distributed evenly across the air tube. They work best when they support the tent via outward pressure against the fly/skin on the tent. Look for large arcs in the air tubes. Untensioned fabric, this will flap in the wind, be loud, and throw condensation over everything in your tent. Ventilation. These things are greenhouses. You NEED ventilation if you plan on using it in the summer and being inside while the sun is out. You want to be able to basically funnel wind into the tent. I see some vents but not enough to escape the heat. You’ll probably need a gazebo too if there isn’t any shade at the campsite. With all that said, look at Zempire. Their warranty team is easy to work with and they’ve been making air tents since 2004. I’m biased because I want to work there and I’m proud that they come from my home country of Aotearoa (New Zealand). But yeah nah, everything I mentioned is visible in their designs. I highly recommend the Aerospeed series. Just don’t buy the shapeshifter (yet) the parts come in their own bags and it’s a pain in the proverb to unzip all the modules and bag them up. They need to release a big bag that the whole assembly fits into.

Zempire Aerospeed series, not cheap but Zempire make quality gear. However, the Aerospeed series isn't freestanding. If you must have a free-standing tent, go for the Pro series. Heimplanet is another one, but that's bloody expensive. I have their discontinued Pronto 4 and can say it's really the best out there.
