Also love my Blendtec. I like the optional blades and containers, but haven't actually bought them since the wild side jar can pretty much do everything I've always asked of it.

That's why I like the Blendtec. Their oddly shaped Wildside jar really makes a difference here. Funnily enough, people seem to agree and to can get a Blendtec jar that is made to go on a Vitamix base

I make oat flour in the regular Blendtec jar. Doesn't need a special container

The Wildside jar is amazing. I honestly feel it makes the Blendtec a much better choice than the Vitamix. The fact that it usually costs less, is just icing on the cake. But I do like that I bought both the regular and the small jar. Sometimes that's a nice option to have.

My Blendtec jar regularly goes into the dishwasher.  The quick handwash is great. But I don't like my smoothies to taste of garlic. So, sometimes a deep cleaning is required

imo the blendtec but you can never get the bottom of the jar wet or it will breakdown. if you want something that will never breakdown and do a great job, get a vitamix but blendtec makes better frappes imo

I would choose blendtec but don't get the bottom of the jar wet or don't stick the jar in the dishwasher machine.

Vitamix is the best blender hands down. Buy refurbished if you want a cheaper option. The blade on a Vitamix works better than a Blendtec in my experience.

This. I got a clearance NutriBullet & I've been using it for daily smoothies because it's so much easier to clean than my Blendtec

Love my Blendtec, I use it almost daily. I’ve had it for almost 10 years.

Have a BlendTec that’s at about 3500 cycles (it displays each use) for over the past several years. Make a smoothie every morning. Burned through two motors and no issues with their warranty coverage. Just had to pay shipping
