1) Viofo A129 Pro 2) 70mai A800 SE 3) Vantrue N4 Pro 4) Qubo Hero Pro I have these 4 in my cars. My favorite app to use is Qubo, it’s very user friendly and it’s a breeze to set up and get it running. My favorite image quality is Vantrue, it’s pristine and read things super clear, day and night. My best VFM has to be 70mai tho because the Vantrue is nice but pricey and 70mai does 90% of the stuff for a fraction of the cost. Hope this helps ☺️ Edit: I would also suggest getting front and back. It’s more peace of mind. You’ll have more evidence and more angles covered.
70mai A800se super clear ng video 4k front cam, and back cam is 1080p, 4k plus lng yun sa shopee, ikaw na mag kabit madali lng watch sa youtube.
Botslab is fine, I also haven't heard much either way but from the videos that are posted they're fine. Vantrue is definitely more well known. Anything from Viofo fit into your budget? I rock a 70mai A800SE, but I usually recommend the Viofos.
I have used 70mai cameras, now changed car and ordered 70mai a800se from germany for 90 euro, front and rear. Still have 70mai some 4kish one on my old car, but gonna leave it in for new owner.
I would go 70mai A800SE + Hardwire kit, got mine for 90€ before christmas, might be more expensive now, hardwire kit was about 25-30€, it is front and back camera, all in one price.

I would go for the A800SE, it's a safe bet. It has 4K, GPS and setup is very easy. Back in Jan 1st there was a bug in a lot of 70mai cameras where they stopped working because the firmware was not ready to handle dates with 2026 as year, and 70mai took like 3 days to solve the issue with a firmware update. That could be the cause of the low reviews. Or maybe the fact that is a chinese product and tariffs could be increasing the price where you live (I am not in USA, so prices are lower here)
I was looking at reviews of dashcams under $200. The Viofo A229 was about the best. But when I would add the sd card, it would go way over budget. I looked at several more reviews and it seemed like the Rove r2-4k dual and the MAI 800se were always mentioned as being good. I found the Rove on sale for $129 including the sd card. I ordered it! The next day, the MAI was on sale for $99 including sd card! I ordered it with the intention to send the Rove back. When the Rove arrived, I couldn’t resist hooking it up. It was so easy to install and hide the wires. Next I connected to the Rove app and it was seamless. It was more or less plug and play. (I did order a obd connector for both. Cleaner installation.) I decided to keep it, and if the MAI was good, I’d put it in the leased car. Two for about the same price as the Viofo. The MAI arrived and I installed it in about a 1/2 hour. Connecting to the app took several attempts and googling. Finally got the app downloaded and set it up. I have driven both cars with both cams, and here are my conclusions. The Rove is much easier to set up and connect. The vids are great on the front and license plates are easy to read. The rear cam is ok, you can identify the cars, but not great on the license plates. The MAI was a real pain to connect. I had read that was one of the quirks, but thought it was overblown. (It wasn’t.) After reviewing the vids, the front camera is good, but not quite as good as the Rove. I do like that with the MAI obd connector you can put it in parking mode. The rear camera is sufficient; you can identify the cars but probably not the license plates. It does have a smaller footprint so you see less of the cam as you look out the window. If I could have just one, it would be the Rove. Good vids and easy to set up with no hiccups. I am also keeping the MAI. I already did the work, and it is pretty good.
