"70mai are not too bad, their normal camera design allows the battery to stay reasonably cool, and they use Li Ion cells instead of Lipos."

"No, not hard at all, the camera modules are secured to the glass with a double-sided tape (comes included). ... The included cables are plenty long enough to reach from front to back."

"I think it does quite a decent job considering it is only a 1080p dash cam setup."

70mai is a very good brand. I have the A200 i believe it’s called and it’s been very good.
Brand: 70mai Model: a200 ,a400 they have options if u want to comes alongside w rear cam, max 265gb support will do. Option: u could install 24h even uy car is off just parking or power by charger songket (con for 24h will drain car battery a bit fast) U could buy online shopping platform n looks for DASHER for installation
Ito yung binili ko na 70mai A200 dashcam https://ph.shp.ee/8AB5Kc5
I have this too. I think you over-exaggerate 😅 Using the 70mai app connect directly to the dashcam hotspot takes me max 1min. Then browse the footage thru tthe app and download the footage you want. No sound? Maybe try check the audio recording setting is on/off?
M200 dual channel was around 7k the last time I checked. Single channel M200 is around 3.5k or 4kish. I bought a M310 when the price for it dropped below 3k. Edit: my bad my bad. [its A200 that you get for 7k.](https://amzn.in/d/hdvT3Ag)
The 70mai A200 is on the budget spectrum of dual channel dash cams, watch [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f1fatNoWEOQ) review video of the A200. I think it does quite a decent job considering it is only a 1080p dash cam setup. One of the drawbacks of 70mai dash cams has been they use a physical battery in stead of capacitors. Batteries wear out, get hot, swell, etc, you get the picture, But 70mai is slowly switching to capacitors so IMO it is a win win for everyone. In saying the above, I live in Canada and I've owned (or still own) several 70mai dash cams - ~~1S~~, M500, ~~A800S~~, A81*0*, **S500**, Omni X200 - those crossed out I no longer own, and the S500 does use a capacitor instead of a physical battery. Other than the 1S, build quality of the rest have been second to none in my opinion. Not to say the 1S was bad just that it felt/looked cheaper than all the rest. When it comes/came to their use I have absolutely no complaints with their ability to the job they were intended to do tis the reason I keep buying into the brand. P.S. Although we are quite happy with 70mai dash cam brand we aren't tied to them by any means as we also use other brands. It has more to do with us being a techno geek than anything else buuut... We are waiting on 70mai's newest release the Omni X800 LOL.
I suggest you check out some reviews on both of them to make a more informative decision on which one would suit you best. I own a few Viofo's including the A229 Plus 3-ch. The brand has been very good to me over the years in terms of reliability. The A229 Plus records 2K front & rear, 1080p interior. For my type of usage, 2K is more than ample. I also own several 70mai dash cams some older some newer... The older 70mai models had physical batteries whilst those produced in the last year and some are equipped with super-capacitors. Yes a capacitor equipped dash cam is preferred. Either way, this brand has been very good to me as well. P.S. I do not own the 70mai M800 (released in Aug 2025) so can't honestly comment on it worth. But I do have the 4K Omni X800, a 360° camera of sorts which was released in May of this year, and it's great!.
Got the 70mai a2000, ok na ok na for recordingfront and rear, got it on sale for 2.3k
Hi - as others have said, the DDPAIs and 70Mais are popular because they work - and they are cost effective and high quality. But - make sure they are installed properly and set your expectations properly OP. Many dashcams fail because they are not installed properly or they are asked to do too much.
While they're all kinda the same I've found the 70mai brand to have the most reliable after purchase tech support but that's just my experience comparing 4 brands Red tiger, 70mai, viofo and blackvue
I got with the cheapest one that has 2 cams front and rear.
I have a 70mai front+rear dash cam. It's awesome, love it. It was about $120 on AMZ.
