"70mai are not too bad, their normal camera design allows the battery to stay reasonably cool, and they use Li Ion cells instead of Lipos."

"No, not hard at all, the camera modules are secured to the glass with a double-sided tape (comes included). ... The included cables are plenty long enough to reach from front to back."
"Mounts to the inside of the windshield and plugs into the 12v behind the glovebox. Wiring is easy to hide"

"the cabin is a crappy 1080p only"
The A810 Plus definitely has a supercap, and looks to be solid as anything. I do use the A329 in two channel mode but it has intermittent issues with my Kingston external SSD, Viofo has had to backtrack on its claims of compatibility with SSD enclosures - it's been a mess. A119 V3 I've still got one in the drawer that was my daily for a couple of years, it can't be beaten in the Australian heat here and for it's video quality. Vantrue has caught up a lot in terms of their app and image quality, I would go for E1 Pro which seems to be the pick for a cheap 4k single unit solution. The e360 is a bit out of an outlier as they're trying something new - they have had their doozies like the s1 pro which was quickly replaced by the N2X which was way way better. To be honest, it's a three way battle between Viofo 70mai and Vantrue now. Totally understand the convenience of the Wolfbox and the form factor , it definitely has it's use cases and I can't fault that in the slightest. Wolfbox seem to be getting their game together now which is good. I agree with you on the x800, it seems like that's what the issue is. Shame really but what can you do. To be honest the a810 plus seems to be the safer buy even if the cabin is a crappy 1080p only. YouTube reviewers don't mention these issues not a single one mentioned it for the x800 even though they would have the Dec and January batch units that had the issues.
Jusst go for it me and my friends use it no problems
The specific brand or model of dashcam will make no difference to Eyesight. Per the manual, there is a recommended "dead zone" on the windshield where you're not supposed to mount anything. That said, I (and many others) have ignored those recommendations and placed my dashcam very close to the Eyesight housing with no adverse effects. FWIW, I have a 70mai T800 (triple camera setup). I've had it for about six months so far and it's been great. Simple setup, simple app interface, and great quality video and audio. It's pricey, but I'd buy it again.
How long you get for parking mode will depend on several things including how much power your dash cam uses in parking mode, the state of charge of your car battery, the condition of your car battery and the amount of motion in your parking spot. Currently, the Thinkware U3000 and U3000 Pro have the longest parking mode when set to RADAR. I've gotten past 8 days but again depends on those factors I mentioned above. If I were to use a dash cam battery pack I could probably extend it to past 21 days. These are expensive dash cams so budget will also play a factor. It's possible a different dash cam used with a dash cam battery pack could cost less and last more than what you need it for. Note too that dash cam parking mode differ between brands and makes so you would want to know how it really works for a specific dash cam. A lot of cheap dash cams implement parking mode not too great or use too much power or have a long wake-up time. This matters because if it takes a long time to wake-up you will miss recording some or all the action. Here is my comparison video on parking modes and power usage of some common dash cams: [U3000 vs VIOFO, BlackVue, Akeeyo](https://youtu.be/52nfmtyEEQ8) [My full Review of U3000 Pro](https://youtu.be/6PxwpG2-ZII) [My full Review of 70mai 4K T800](https://youtu.be/G88zYI3J5YE) [My full Review of VIOFO a129 Plus Duo](https://youtu.be/9YQGChfUGIY)
VIOFOs are big, wedge-shaped and have a screen (not everyone needs it). Video quality is the best. You can get polarised filters for both front and rear cameras. There is a remote bluetooth button as an accessory. Voice commands. Can write to an external SSD as well. VIOFO is not the cleanest to install in Sportage because Sportage has that big plastic shroud around the rearview mirror. Cannot install too close to it (or it would get into the frame) and doesn't look very nice installed under it since the camera is pretty boxy. Have to go to the side. Some install it ON the plastic shroud though. May be an option. Rear camera is compact. Rear cam cable is one of the thinnest on the market. Easier to tuck. Blackvue are cylindrical which makes for cleaner install and allows for more centred installation. Can go right under the said shroud. There are options like [https://blendmount.com/](https://blendmount.com/) that allow install on the mirror stem. Can get mobile connectivity. Expensive. Thinkware U3000Pro is pretty large but yes, radar mode is cool. Heat resistance of these is also very good. But they look big when installed. You can either have the internal third camera or the mobile connectivity unit. Not both. What else... 70mai T800 is cheaper and not bad, can get it with LTE connectivity.
4k on 70mai is a huge difference in details and catching license plates. Also slightly wider angle on A810.
800 is because they install it for you. It's really easy to install dashcam, a bunch of video on YouTube about that. Usually dashcam has all necessary wires and tools to install it. This is my collection: https://preview.redd.it/10k9iktxr29g1.jpeg?width=1301&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f7c49922905ba0b9e3fbac457543639c6d1881db The most expensive costs 300 USD, but records 4k both front and rear (T800) and interior with IR camera. Using these cameras on 2 cars. Definitely recommend to have 4G Kit with external battery to monitor parked car. Helps to hatch suspicious activities near the car. I don't use fuse box on Rav4 Prime, just splitter for Cigarette lighter.
70mai t800, covers front rear and inside cabin and has option for 4g sim card for remote viewing and alerts
70mai t800 3 channel, mainly for the 4g notifications
70mai with parking surveillance on killed my battery.
I sadly had mine stop recording numerous times. I only noticed this after reading about other user’s having failed recordings posting in other forums etc. Over the course of a year, all the recordings randomly stopped. I would open app and notice there were no previous recordings saved in the folder! I did swap out my SanDisk high endurance microSD card to another, and this continued to happen. I frequently manually formatted the microSD card helped prolong it, however there was still no way to predict when the recordings would fail. I don’t trust my FitcamX anymore, so I bit the bullet earlier this year and pre-ordered newest triple channel 70mai (with dual 4K front/rear) and definitely would not go back to anymore FitcamX. The 70mai has much better Starvis 2 lens, higher image quality and the app is superior to the FitcamX. https://preview.redd.it/r9i1htd5qpzf1.jpeg?width=5712&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=38c1d640dda4eefdabe7c33f4caf0c2b40eddb77
The A810 is one of the best 4K dash cams I've used
