"If you can spend money get a Viofo and enjoy high quality videos ... So practically I have 8mp IMX678 sensor on front camera and 5mp IMX675 sensor on back camera which is all other brands put on front cameras (Rove, Xiaomi etc.) even it is Starvis 2 new sensor it ’s still a 5mp. So back camera performance on Viofo is similar to top brands new dashcams front camera ... Top of the line sensor with 8mp and Stravis IMX 678 sensor - image quality is perfect. ... because I want not just dash cam for the sake of having dash cam, but also best image quality therefore I spend more. ... For now I ’m happy with video quality"

Would suggest you get a 70mai and have it connected via the OBD2 port, this will guarantee parking monitoring and will not void any warranty.

At saan pwede mag pa install? ->Many say this but i haven’t experienced any heat related issues yet, if you stay in extreme temperature areas then you may want to double check. I have three 70mai dash-cams in all. The 70mai dual channel(front & rear) A510 In my Ford 7 Seater, and a single channel M200 Dashcam3 in my polo. Reasons i chose these above anything was the Starvis 2 Sensor for absolute clear images day or night. These can be hardwired to capture in parked mode, and the app is easy to use amongst all.

(What the feck is with trucks driving 5ft behind you?) ->A rechargeable RTC battery should be fine, first because it should be located in the cool part of the camera, as Viofo's are, and second because the charge and discharge rates are extremely slow. A main lithium battery is a totally different matter, they need to be charged rapidly, with enough power to shutdown safely, before the camera can start recording, and they are big enough that they often don't fit in the cool part of the camera. 70mai are not too bad, their normal camera design allows the battery to stay reasonably cool, and they use Li Ion cells instead of Lipos. There have been a few reports of Viofo RTC batteries needing to replaced, but it is unusual, and I don't think it is due to heat problems.

r/COROLLA • Dash Cam Recommendations ->Interesting, never seen that one shop.skoda-auto.cz . They seem to be Pioneer, not an official Skoda accessory because they lack the part number. Maybe it’s a partnership at local importer in Belgium. I’ve seen them in our local tech shops recently but they lack user reviews and they’re long way from beating 70mai(Xiaomi) 😁
