70mai is descent. Have them in my family in 4 cars. No issues whatsoever. Stick it and forget it.

Look into Dongar connector and alike. It'll power from auto dimming mirror socket For dashcam, I like 70mai but the best kind you can get is likely one with Sony Starvis 2 sensor for optimal license plate capturing.

I did some research back in 2023 and ended up with a starvis 2 model from 70mai (one of only 2 that were available at the time, the other was a viofo). I’m very happy with it!

Get any dashcam that comes with a hardwire kit, I have 70mai and Nexdigitron dashcams with hardwire kit in my cars and both are pretty good.
