I have a 70mai 1440p front&rear for over a year now, great quality

I would suggest dash cam installation from outside. You will find far cheaper and wider array of options. As far as I know, 70mai produces pretty good dashcams with good software support. You will get 1080p recording dual channel dashcam at 8.5k. Installation and sd card will come extra.

I would say it is enough. I have the A400 which records at 1440p at front and 1080p at back. The quality is enough to be honest. You can easily make out number plates even at night. If you want 4k resolution, you also need to make sure that you have a larger sd card as well. And since dashcams need high endurance sd cards, these can become quite expensive. Also, if they are willing, get it installed from the showroom itself. But unless you hardwire the dashcam, warranty won't be voided if you install it outside.

Dashcam singapore is good and their 70mai cameras are high quality. Brought my dad’s car there to install the 70mai a410, $210 for front and back cam, app control, records in 2k I brought my own sd card from challenger but they provide as well for extra cost

Please consider increase your budget much would be better - 70mai and DDPAI are mostly recommended. If you park outdoor most of the time and expose to rain/sunlight, get DDPAI dashcam (Super Capacitors battery - More durable/last longer in hot climate in Malaysia - software good). Else, get 70Mai instead too as this is quite popular brand (Lithium battery - software much better). Below are Front & Rear dashcam you can consider (Lazada/Shopee), these does not come with installation (\~RM80-RM150) nor MicroSD card (High Endurance type, 32GB to 128GB \~ RM40 to RM75): \>> 70mai A400 (QHD 1440P Front, max 64GB) \~ RM339 \>> 70mai A500s (3K 1944P Front) \~ RM365 \>> DDPAI N2 (QHD 1440P Front) \~ RM309 \>> DDPAI Mola N3 Pro GPS (2.5K 1600P Front) \~ RM319 \>> DDPAI Z40 (3K 1944P Front) \~ RM379

Its little more than your budget but go for 70mai A500S Pro+ with hardwire kit. Quality is superb, control & management is seamless & with hardwire kit the car stays monitored even when parked. This has features similar to ADAS as well.. If still tight on budget go for A400 Dual Channel, little less features but covers all required aspects, 1440p recording, dual channel.. Anyone you select go for Fuse Hardwire kit, this will swap your existing fuse from the fuse box with an adapter & provide continuous power supply. Your existing fuse also goes in the adapter so no wire cut, no splicing and no warranty issues. Otherwise power supply is via Cigarette Lighter port or USB port but will not provide 24/7 monitoring, car on recording on, car off recording off.

I have a 70mai front+rear dash cam. It's awesome, love it. It was about $120 on AMZ.

70Mai is good - I've one in the CX5, front and rear cameras - and bought direct from AliExpress - retailers here sell the same thing, just for more. Do the math. Also the Viofo seem to be getting traction well - pick anything with the Sony Starvis sensor really - they're good in day and great at night.

Get a 70mai dual channel dashcam that fits your budgets (preferably with a Sony Starvis 2 sensor) with hardwire kit. Just make sure that the hardwire kit is for the OBD2 port and not the fuses because hardwiring to fusebox may void warranty in case of a lot of car brands, but that’s not the case with a connection to the OBD2 port
