I have the Azdome it’s $50-$80 on eBay and does the job. I wouldn’t trust it to read a plate in the dark at 50m away but for the price it’s very good front and rear camera.
r/CarsAustralia • Best dashcams in Australia that cost less than $250? Or should I just get a BlackVue one for $1.5k?
Had mine 2 years now and been fine. https://amzn.eu/d/9n6Srl5
r/drivingUK • Recommendation for a dash cam? ->I have an AZDOME and it sucks . Looking for recommendations as well
r/Dashcam • Best dashcam 2025 ->Adzome m300s, it's a bit pricey but it's high quality and it's easy to download the footage straight onto your phone. Plus it comes with a rear camera too. Might seem a little off cuff, but just a recommendation about the baby on board stickers. I've heard stories about chancers seeing them and thinking you'd be distracted by a child in the back, so they might take the opportunity to try to get a claim out of you. It's the same for any political stickers or anything signifying where you work. It may seem a little extra precautionary, but there's real psychos out there on the roads, and the best tactic is to just blend in as much as possible.
r/irelandsshitedrivers • Dash-cam recommendations please? (What the feck is with trucks driving 5ft behind you?) ->I got azdome installed by someone else for like 320 . Uhhh it gets the job done and its front and rear both
r/CarsAustralia • Best dashcams in Australia that cost less than $250? Or should I just get a BlackVue one for $1.5k? ->Third this. For me the cameras themselves are fine but the app is by far the worst I have used. It rarely connects automatically and the majority of the time I'm sat troubleshooting it. The cheap azdome dash cam from AliExpress has a much better app experience.
r/drivingUK • What dashcam would you get? ->Azdome on amazon. I'd recommend buying the hardwire kit and watch a youtube vid on how to fit it, it's easy 15 minute j0b
r/Dashcam • Best front facing dash cam for under $200? ->I've used azdome and gku d600 cameras. Both are budget cams, 4k, easy to use app. No night vision. Although the night vision should be enough to establish blame in an accident. I think you'll struggle to find a budget cam with good night vision.
r/Dashcam • Afforable dashcam ->Would not recommend Azdome either. They're competitive on price (especially if you source it from AliExpress vs. Amazon or eBay) and some have a Sony Starvis image processor (albeit Gen 1 but still better than others around the same price point) though I've had issues with my M300s around videos from the front camera not playing on VLC media player and, more concerning, the unit randomly restarting on journeys despite being powered by the OBD-II port. As others have commented, would consider Blackvue, Vantrue, Halo and especially Viofo.
r/drivingUK • Dash Cam Recommendation. ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
