"I live in a 2700 square foot cookie-cutter tract house. First floor is laminate with an office that has carpet. Then there’s the stairs which leads to 5 carpeted bedrooms, two tile bathrooms, a laundry room, and a walk-in carpeted closet. I can get all of that done one charge."

"i want the best resolution camera back there, and the dual ones out there, including fitcamx, all have 1080p res. the viofo is 4k ... the last 5 cars have all had front and rear cameras, and at least 3 times we got punted in the rear, not once in the front. one time some dumbass ran in to us at the wendys drive thru. another was when we were stopped at a red lite."

"I really despise levoit. I'll never buy anything from them again. Their customer service and "warranty" are awful ... Bought two smart humidifiers, both were defective. Reached out and they sent me a replacement, which also was defective. ... Wanted to just return them and get a refund, but they only offered a credit. The credit I got was less than the current cost of a new product, so I would've had to pay even more. ... By the way, this whole process took more than a month. Customer service was extremely slow with updates."

I’ve installed Blackvue cams (2Ch) in all of my cars. All were easily hidden behind the rearview except the 2024 model Toyota that has a lot more features that fit in the space behind the mirror. For that car, the camera sits a little below the mirror and is not completely tucked out of view.

I have a Blackvue 2 channel in my wagon and just put a Viofo A329s 3 channel in my new daily. Dual mode hybrid parking recording and lots of nice features on the viofo. Though I prefer the form factor of the blackvue.

r/gmcsierra • Dash cam recommendations ->I’m running Blackvue 650 and up on multiple cars. Doesn’t really matter which you buy, just as long as you buy one. I’d also suggest a battery backup; mine can record for a few days even after I’ve parked the car and turned it off. Black box my car; look that up and they have a shit ton of cameras and systems to use.
r/BMWM • Any Dash Cam recommendations? ->I went for A229 Plus Duo (2k front and back). These Viofo cameras with the second generation Sony STARVIS sensors seem to work well. It's a huge upgrade from the Blackvue GW650 I've been using since 2016. I just hope the VIOFO is as well made, once you have a good one it's not worth upgrading all the time!
r/FordMaverickTruck • Dashcams? ->I run the BlackVue two channel and have it hardwired to the fuse box. Run all the cords through the head liner and side pillars. It’s pretty hidden almost to the point I forget it’s there. The rear camera is visible but very small and cords are running through the headliner so you only see it when it’s coming out direct to the camera (an inch or two of exposed cord).

I may need to replace my almost decade old Blackvue DR650GW-2CH as it seem to struggle with the back camera now and try to fix it by auto-rebooting (I already have the high wired cigare plug in place for the parking mode). EDIT : they even have 3 channel apparently, nice.

My current BlackVue worked like that: 10 minutes with no movement: goes to parking mode and the dedicated parking box has a ON/OFF switch I can use if I don't want to activate the parking mode (when I'm parked at home in my garage for example).
