I’m running Blackvue 650 and up on multiple cars. Doesn’t really matter which you buy, just as long as you buy one. I’d also suggest a battery backup; mine can record for a few days even after I’ve parked the car and turned it off. Black box my car; look that up and they have a shit ton of cameras and systems to use.

I have two BlackVue 2-channel cameras and both have been reliable. Would go with them again. Also, important to use high endurance cards rated for continuous writes.

I have a Blackvue front/rear. Solid units and they stand up to the nasty summer heat here.

I have a Blackvue 2-channel dashcam. Installed by Vancouver Dashcam. They came to my place for the install. Took about an hour and they went over the settings and operations with me.

I also use the Blackvue 2ch camera. I didn't trust the Tesla sentry for the same reasons, and the detail from the Blackvue is surprisingly good. It's now running in my Polestar, and I will likely run a separate dash cam on every car I drive in the foreseeable future.

Had my BlackVue 2-CH (front and back) installed at Autotrend Car Accessories (at Toa Payoh). Wire was neatly tucked and workmanship was solid! Also has parking mode function enabled as requested. Was about $450 all in.

Main cost was the BlackVue front and rear cameras themselves at $380+. Installation was $60 iirc. Could you send me the link to the 4k front and rear cameras for $100? I’ll check it out next year when I switch cars

I run the BlackVue two channel and have it hardwired to the fuse box. Run all the cords through the head liner and side pillars. It’s pretty hidden almost to the point I forget it’s there. The rear camera is visible but very small and cords are running through the headliner so you only see it when it’s coming out direct to the camera (an inch or two of exposed cord).

We use Blackvue in both our cars - two channel models for front and rear cam. My car's dashcam is married to Blackvue B124X battery to allow the dashcam to run whilst parked for up to 24 hours, and my other half's car runs the same dashcam but on a B112 battery which is the same technology, but smaller, only allowing the dashcam to operate for up to 12 hours whilst parked.

Currently using a Blackvue two-channel model on our 2021 XV. Never had any issues. Dashcam is married to a Blackvue B112 battery that keeps the dashcam independent of the car battery and can run the dashcam for up to 12 hours whilst parked. https://preview.redd.it/tr3bu7gr8gbf1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=29a03356c531767120add2fceb922c5efee4258a

Same dashcam on our Outback but a B124X battery that runs the dashcam for up to 24 hours whilst parked. https://preview.redd.it/lpnq0dn19gbf1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3e6f04f3824f7604357bc26b041e0bdffad368c5
