"Super easy. ... Took about 20-30 minutes"
"It plugs right into the power source for the lane assist and hides inside the housing for it so I can basically just forget it’s there until I need to grab a clip."
"Dream to fit as it connects to existing "safety eye camera" around rear vision mirror. ... Took 5 minutes. Could do it in one minute next time."

"The picture quality day or night is fantastic."

"The app. It's a complete pain in the ass to view any footage ... it won't update the firmware because the dashcam connects to my phone via wifi and if it's connected via wifi, there's not any actual Internet access from the cellular signal so it can never update 🤣 what a joke."
"it records in minute increments, which makes viewing footage a pain. ... There are an enormous number of files associated with a day of driving."

I’ve installed Blackvue cams (2Ch) in all of my cars. All were easily hidden behind the rearview except the 2024 model Toyota that has a lot more features that fit in the space behind the mirror. For that car, the camera sits a little below the mirror and is not completely tucked out of view.
r/Dashcam • Best discreet dash cam w/o a screen ->I have a Blackvue front/rear. Solid units and they stand up to the nasty summer heat here.
r/Miata • Dashcam for ND Miatas question.... ->I bought my Blackvue 750 in 2019. It failed after about three years and they fixed it for about $100.00. it still seems to be doing fine. I live in Arizona and while I use a garage and don't have to park in the sun all the time, it still gets really hot in the car.
r/dashcams • How long do dashcams actually last? ->Blackboxmycar.com and Vortex Radar on YouTube do amazing reviews and comparisons. I have a Blackvue 2 channel in my wagon and just put a Viofo A329s 3 channel in my new daily. Dual mode hybrid parking recording and lots of nice features on the viofo. Though I prefer the form factor of the blackvue.
r/askcarguys • Best dash cams in 2025? Need recommendations for my first one ->I wouldn't say "out of sight" for mine either but Blackvue(at least the older ones) have been relatively good for me. I have the 750x model but I plan to upgrade. 1080p sony camera, dual channel and a night mode. The app isn't great, and you may need to change the sim card to a name brand instead but it's almost lasted me 8 years, and 3 car upgrades. Went from 2016 WRX, to 2012 350, to finally ISF. Currently using add-a-fuse method for power. Simple as sticking your cameras on, plugging in power, and then figuring out which fuse is constant and accessories in the fuse box with lowest interference then tucking in the wires.
r/LexusIS • Labor cost for dashcam installation ? ->Blackvue dashcam front and back, hardwired. Cost less than 1K. I’d say a g owner it’d be a chumchange to your peace of mind.
r/AMG • Do any of you all use dash cams to help protect your car while parked? ->I've used BlackVue dash cams for a while and have found that the DR750X2 meets my needs perfectly. It records both front and rear views, and hardwiring it to my battery was a smooth process.
r/dashcams • Best Dashcam? ->I have a BlackVue 2 channel system in my 2017 [*trim level redacted so Shamy Shamerson doesn’t call me out, too*].
r/hondaridgeline • Updated list of the best dash cams ->Blackvue forward and back camera on mine 750 or 900 series are great!
r/f150 • Dash Cam recommendations ->You'd get better advice from the nerds in the dashcam subreddits. But I have a blackvur and it's great. Typically Viofo is the one to get though.
r/gmcsierra • Dash cam recommendations ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
