"Nice crisp clear 4K especially if you keep your streams and upload them to YT later."

"But, there is one thing that you should know about parking mode, which almost nobody is talking about. The cam may drain your battery. Whether the hardwire kit has discharge protection or not, there is always a chance. ... Also, even if the harwire kit is working properly and cutting off power if the battery is discharged to some level--it puts a strain on it. Which means it wears out quicker. ... Gotcha. Be careful with setting it so low, as it not only puts a strain on the battery going through so many cycles of charging/discharging every time, but discharging it to such a low state can lead to not being able to start the car on a colder/hotter day at 11.4V ... good to hear because I had some clients who reported batteries died on them over time after they tried using parking mode. Despite it had voltage protection"
"I am strongly considering upgrading to a constant power cable though."
"The A229 Pro supports a maximum 512GB microSD card, which limits storage capacity. ... I strongly recommend connecting it to a hard drive; otherwise, it’s only useful while driving, not when parked."

"The app. It's a complete pain in the ass to view any footage ... it won't update the firmware because the dashcam connects to my phone via wifi and if it's connected via wifi, there's not any actual Internet access from the cellular signal so it can never update 🤣 what a joke."

"I really despise levoit. I'll never buy anything from them again. Their customer service and "warranty" are awful ... Bought two smart humidifiers, both were defective. Reached out and they sent me a replacement, which also was defective. ... Wanted to just return them and get a refund, but they only offered a credit. The credit I got was less than the current cost of a new product, so I would've had to pay even more. ... By the way, this whole process took more than a month. Customer service was extremely slow with updates."
"The problem with Coway is poor customer service. ... They tell me to return it to Amazon, but I don't have the original package. So I'm supposed to purchase a new box from them to return to Amazon. Amazon won't accept it anyway because it's outside the 30 day return window. Coway's solution is to stop responding to emails."
"once they no longer support the router they throttle your internet speed so you can buy a new one. ... when it was no longer being supported with the last update it was throttle to 200 mbs."
I’ve installed Blackvue cams (2Ch) in all of my cars. All were easily hidden behind the rearview except the 2024 model Toyota that has a lot more features that fit in the space behind the mirror. For that car, the camera sits a little below the mirror and is not completely tucked out of view.
r/Dashcam • Best discreet dash cam w/o a screen ->Blackboxmycar.com and Vortex Radar on YouTube do amazing reviews and comparisons. I have a Blackvue 2 channel in my wagon and just put a Viofo A329s 3 channel in my new daily. Dual mode hybrid parking recording and lots of nice features on the viofo. Though I prefer the form factor of the blackvue.
r/askcarguys • Best dash cams in 2025? Need recommendations for my first one ->I have a BlackVue 2 channel system in my 2017 [*trim level redacted so Shamy Shamerson doesn’t call me out, too*].
r/hondaridgeline • Updated list of the best dash cams ->I've had a lot of success with the Blackvue Range. The DR770X is a great model. If a little on the pricey side. The DR970X has 4k resolution. Feel free to contact me if you need any help 😊
r/dashcams • Best dash cam? ->Depends on your budget and preference of tech. Mines unnecessarily expensive to buy upfront and has a monthly charge, there's cheaper but I like it Blackvue DR770X LTE. It's hardwired, with an auto off to not kill battery, it has impact, manual, motion sensor and auto recording. Its always on ans trims footage into 1 minute clips. Footage is then streamed to an app on your phone you can download share etc. For this it has a sim card that costs me 9.99 a month. But much easier for me than battery or storage card options. Pretty good quality too.
r/drivingUK • Dash cam recommendations ->Depends on budget and preference of tech. I have Blackvue DR770X LTE Front and rear. Its hardwired, has auto cut out for low battery ans is always record except auto cut out. It condsenses clips into 1/2 minites when driving and has motion and impact. It uses a SIM card you have to pay monthly for to send clips direct to an app you have and you can view and save direct to phone You can also do live view if you want to wake it up. Its pricey but good
r/drivingUK • Dashcam recommendations ->Blackvue DR770X LTE Expensive and has a pay monthly sim but its great. Good picture quality day and night, front and rear, hardwired, impact and motion recording. It automatically records during journeys and condenses it into 1 or 2 min chunks. They get uploaded to an app you can watch and download. Just wish the app didnt have such a short time frame to do it from, I.e videos from the morning may get overwritten by evening
r/CarTalkUK • How did you decide which dashcam to get? ->What's your budget? I have a BlackVue DR770X LTE Front and rear It's pricey, hardwired and saves/loads clips via an app so you need a cheap sim card for the camera to upload it from via data/WiFi But its bloody good
r/drivingUK • Dashcams recommendation ->Blackvue DR770X LTE Pretty happy, could do without the monthly sim card payment and wish the footage lasted longer on the app before overwritting but works well
r/drivingUK • What front and rear dash cam are you using ? ->You'd get better advice from the nerds in the dashcam subreddits. But I have a blackvur and it's great. Typically Viofo is the one to get though.
r/gmcsierra • Dash cam recommendations ->Blackvue lte dashcam or a cloud connected dashcam that can connect to a hotspot will give you remote access and notifications
r/dashcams • Dash Cam reccomendation that I can access from my phone while car is off? ->Blackvue 770x or 970x both 2-channel. Use battery backup as well. Install was straightforward.
r/Subaru_Outback • Recommendation on Dash cams 2025 outback ->You're not going to get much better quality than BlackVue 700 models.
r/Dashcam • Can I use 2 separate dash cameras in my car? One system with LTE and the other without? ->I run the BlackVue two channel and have it hardwired to the fuse box. Run all the cords through the head liner and side pillars. It’s pretty hidden almost to the point I forget it’s there. The rear camera is visible but very small and cords are running through the headliner so you only see it when it’s coming out direct to the camera (an inch or two of exposed cord).
r/GolfGTI • Opinions on Dash Cams? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
