Based on 1 year's data from Mar 28, 2026 How it works
A little out of your price range but 70mai A810 is really good. I have it on most of my cars. I have a couple of A800s, which are pretty good (and closer to your budget) and a BlackVue 900s and 900x. BlackVue cameras are good quality but the app is so bad. Iβm considering replacing both my BlackVue with the upcoming 70mai T800 camera (they are having a Kickstarter now - launches in August 2025)
Been using my BlackVue 900S since 2018. Back from when I was driving a 2017 Toyota 86. I've since have transferred it over two cars until this one
I have personally used the Blackvue 900S (died after 6 years) and now the Viofo A329S (3 channel) which I'm also very happy with. Both have excellent parking modes. Both were hardwired to provide recording while parked. The third channel (fisheye) allows for angles on the side that your front and rear camera won't catch. I opted for the A329 because it allows you to plug in a SSD drive. My micro SD card is 128 gig, the SSD is 2 terabytes. If you're concerned about battery drain, look into getting an external battery pack. I know these things are expensive but once you're involved in an accident, you'll be happy you spent the money.
RedTiger from Amazon Doesnβt have the blackvue price tag and runs fine so far after 8 months on the missusβ car. Mind you my blackvue 900S on my car is still working great after 4 years.
Blackvue. Clear crisp video (even at night), was pretty straightforward to hardwire, convenient to download footage, parking mode with built in volt limiter (can use an exterior one too), cloud storage capability and rear cam fits even with my rear curtain closing for my LS. Used mine for over 7 years, have in multiple cars as it's the favorite of all I've used. Worth even if it's just the UHD ones.
Blackvue 900 works for me, front and rear. Minimalistic look.
Used a blackvue 9 series for me
Currently using Blackvue. 4K front, 2K rear. Both cars.
For fleet we often do blackvue DR-series with a tamperproof case. That way, it can not be unplugged. Some options for LTE models for remote viewing capabilities. Pricing will vary depending on where you are.
I use a Black Vue dash cam w a small Black Vue auxiliary battery that powers the camera when the vehicle is parked.
Pretty much just keeps on working.
Th auxiliary battery is charged from the cig power port - when the vehicle is running
