"the footage only lasts for 24hrs so if I don’t download it that day it’s gone forever"
I have had a Blackvue 900X in my 2022 ORP and love it. Rear view came in handy a few months ago. Check my post history in r/dashcams.
r/4Runner • Front and rear dash cam suggestions! ->A little out of your price range but 70mai A810 is really good. I have it on most of my cars. I have a couple of A800s, which are pretty good (and closer to your budget) and a BlackVue 900s and 900x. BlackVue cameras are good quality but the app is so bad. I’m considering replacing both my BlackVue with the upcoming 70mai T800 camera (they are having a Kickstarter now - launches in August 2025)
r/kereta • Best dashcam? ->I bought a used BlackVue off of eBay (so slightly more affordable, but still expensive) and it’s been doing great in the heat. Have been running it for 3 years. DR900X
r/phoenix • Affordable car dash cams that can survive the Phoenix heat? ->I live in South Louisiana and I've had a regular BlackVue (non-box model) for 7 years. Never had any issues with overheating. And my second one is the 900X which is prone to overheating.
r/dashcams • Is there a heat resistant dashcam? ->Jeep Grand Cherokee here and I use a Blackvue DR900X with a Blendmount, which mounts the camera on the rear view mirror and doesn’t touch the windshield. Really happy with the setup. Blackvues are pricy but I know there’s blendmounts for other camera models as well.
r/dashcams • Best dashcam for windshield tint? ->I just did this one. Really happy with it so far. Got it on sale at $570 Canadian? Takes a bit to find good fuse circuits to tap into without affecting critical components. I ordered “add a circuit” fuse jumpers off amazon. No parking mode though. https://preview.redd.it/sjjgmc11k4ae1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=13df1b9800ce133f184fb659ca620bdd0be861a0
r/Volvo • I highly recommend the FITCAMX for anyone looking for a dashcam. Very easy installation that looks 100% OEM. Great 4K video quality too. ->BlackVue DR900X is brilliant kit. Lovely parking mode and cloud recording, small and unobtrusive for front and rear recording.
r/CarTalkUK • Dashcams ->I use Blackvue 900x and above 4k and has parking mode and wifi connectivity! I can even show you videos of the quality of it. A bit pricy. Has low voltage but I do notice if I don’t drive for a week it does weaken. So I just disconnect it when it sits in my garage or drive way if I store the car.
r/Lexus • Dash Cam Recommendations ->Blackvue DR900X because of the smaller size. Zero issues with eyesight
r/subaru • Dash cam people please let me know what your using and why? ->I'm running an older Blackvue, DR900X. Get one with the Starvis 2 sensor, it's a big leap in quality. Avoid ones with an internal battery, you want one with a super capacitor. Ones with battery are junk. Stick with a name brand, some good examples are Blackvue, Thinkware and Viofo. Garmin are decent, but their tech is a bit dated. If it's less than about $100 for a front only and $150 for a dual channel, it's probably junk.
r/Subaru_Outback • What dash cameras are you guys using? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
