This is the one I use. Three channels, front, back, and inside the car. https://a.co/d/e2Absjc
r/civic β’ Anyone have any good dashcam recommendations? ->I have the COXPAL A11T and love it. It can be run from a rechargeable USB battery pack, though itβs at the top of your budget
r/Dashcam β’ Overwhelmed with dashcam options. What should I get? ->I'm a 65y/o grandma (with disabilities) and I installed [this one](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B27ZF5N3?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title) by myself. Easy peasy. It works great! The price has come down a lot since I bought mine, too.
r/lyftdrivers β’ Dashcam saved my lyft career.. ->Yeah, don't go cheap on a dashcam. I didn't have one when I had three people started surrounding me and harassing me, pounding on my car and blocking my ability to exit a parking lot that only had the one exit. I got [this camera](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B27ZF5N3?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title) and installed it myself. (I'm a 65yo grandma.) You can usually find it's offered with a $20 off coupon. I waited until the Prime Day sale in July. I almost bought it last Christmas, but the timing of the sale price would have had it deliver while I was out of town.
r/lyftdrivers β’ Best cheap dashcam? ->A11T includes rear cam. Didn't install hardwire kit, it is optional, if you want parking monitor.
r/uberdrivers β’ What dashcam is best for driving? ->Yes, important to have a dash cam, it's completely useless 99.99% of the time but is something you wish you had when something happens. Recommend COXPAL A11T 3 channel dash cam on Amazon, very good quality, it records front, inside and rear simultaneously. COXPAL hardwire kit optional, for 24-H parking monitor. SanDisk MAX Endurance 256GB or 512GB microSD card, for reliable recording. BTW: Need to pay attention to the installation position of the rear cam (No problem if Sedan), i.e. avoid pulling rear cam cable when open/close the trunk.
r/uberdrivers β’ Orlando surge for driving and Eats ->Get one that has front, rear, AND inside. Inside is good to have in case someone dings your door, youβll have video out the side. I use the Coxpal camera from Amazon.
r/Mustang β’ Dashcam ->I've been using it with rideshare for a few months now. The quality of the video is top notch with the Starvis 2 sensor even at night. Fast Wi-Fi, good app, decent microphone, voice commands and that great "low profile" wedge shape for which Viofo is known. I'm using a Samsung card just fine. It sees a bunch of use with my work, and I check the card and format on a schedule. If I have any complaints, it is probably about the interior camera. It just feels cheap compared to everything else. The quality, even for 1080p, looks subpar to other interior camera combos I've had, and the exposure is just "weird" in that it doesn't exactly flatter anyone sitting in the car. It also has an IR cut filter (or something similar) so every time a set of bright lights hits it at night, you hear the audible *click* of the IR turning on/off which is annoying. I thought dash cameras were moving away from this. Lastly, while the IR coverage is fine, the scope is narrowed so that anything out of the cone/"periscope" of light coverage isn't lit nearly as well. My previous camera (Coxpal), while it had its own issues, did all these things better with its interior camera. Otherwise, it is a really solid camera. Have it hardwired for parking mode, and it's given me no operational issues whatsoever.
r/Dashcam β’ Anyone have experience with this Viofo 3 channel dash cam? ->
