Am using DDPAI… not bad
r/drivingsg • IROAD on my last nerve...what's better? ->This. I am using DDPAI because of its super capacitor. This is better if your car is parked outside as it can withstand heat better. Also, always use hardwire kit. OBD is not suitable for dashcam. The official ones are better quality and they can be set to turn off monitoring at 12v. So this will not drain the battery until you can't start your car. I set my parking mode to record 24/7. It helped one time when my car was hit by a van. The recording helped me with police report to claim from the perp.
r/kereta • Which Dashcam Has Better Battery Consumption for Parking Surveillance: A800S/A500S or DDPAI N5? ->Radar kit? You mean hardwire kit? Of course it helps. I can hide all the wires from being exposed going to the cig port. It also have parking mode which was important as we manage to claim insurance of a van knocking our car while we were parked. And the parking mode is not those that record only when there's knock. It records 24/7 at low frame rate. Front and rear cam is a MUST! I have not viewed many videos so I am not sure if it can be fast forwarded.
r/kereta • Which Dashcam Has Better Battery Consumption for Parking Surveillance: A800S/A500S or DDPAI N5? ->Yes, it still records even if you are not connected. The WiFi is only for checking clips. If you want something more convenient, check out DDPAI. The N5 Dual is small and hidden, records 4K front and 1080P rear, and has 32GB built in storage as a backup. The Z60 Pro is another option with 4K Sony sensors and HDR, and you can add an interior cam with πlink if you ever need three channels. Both work without needing to keep your phone tied up on WiFi.
r/Dashcam • 70mai m310, cant connect to internet at the same time as dash cam ->I’d go with a DDPAI front + rear setup within your $200–$250 range. DDPAI cams tend to give reliable clear day/night video, the parking mode actually works, and the supercapacitor keeps time/date stable without weird battery issues. With a hardwire kit and a 128GB high-endurance card, I set mine and haven’t touched it since it just records what matters. Front-only is fine if you really need to save money, but getting rear coverage from the start gives you way better overall protection for city driving and parking situations.
r/Dashcam • Best Dashcams in 2025? ->For a sports coupe I get why you would want something that does not stand out. A lot of dash cams look bulky or flashy which can ruin the clean interior. I have been running a DDPAI N5 Dual and it blends in really well. The body is very small with no screen, so once it is tucked near the mirror you forget it is even there. It records front and rear with clear detail day and night, and the built in 32GB eMMC storage means you still have footage even if the microSD card fails. The radar assisted parking mode has been a bonus since it wakes up only when needed without draining the battery. If you prefer a front only setup, the DDPAI Z60 is another option. It is all black so it disappears by the mirror, and 4K UHD resolution with a wide angle view has been great for everyday driving. The Z60 Pro steps it up further with Sony STARVIS 2 on the front camera, so if low light plate clarity is a top priority that might be worth a look. Both setups have been very discreet which is exactly what I wanted.
r/Dashcam • dashcam recom for sports car ->From my experience the cheap ones dont last. For about a year it will start to show signs. On&off, memory card problems. When i switched to Ddpai, no more issues. Been using them for two years now.
r/CarsPH • Naiinitan din ba yung dashcam niyo? Hmmm ->Find a dash cam that does not use lithium batteries. There are a couple that use super capacitors that are heat resistant. I use a ddpai that is cost effective and never over heats. Here’s an article explaining https://www.blackboxmycar.com/pages/whats-the-difference-between-super-capacitors-and-lithium-ion-batteries-in-a-dash-camera?srsltid=AfmBOoolEg9SIWlUApGuPn6ExUuv9u4cJciiE9HRx12AxiDUrm737qLG
r/Dashcam • Dashcam recommendations for scorching Nevada summers? ->Get a 70mai or even better options like Redtiger or DDPAI and use a hardwire kit with it.. It will allow you to record 24/7 and don't forget to check if the hardwire kit has a voltage protection so that the battery will not be drained.
r/CarsIndia • Suggest me a dash cam which can stay 24/7 ->Contrary sa iba. I would not recommend ddpai. I bought a z60 and nalalabuan ako sa shots niya kapag gabi. Oks na oks sa umaga pero nagkakatalo talaga mga dashcam sa gabi 'di ba. Having said that, I would have bought higher priced na lang sana na dash cams.
r/CarsPH • what are your recommended dash cams??????????????? ->Feeling ko magkalevel lang si 70mai and ddpai e. Tingin ka pa po ibang brand.
r/CarsPH • what are your recommended dash cams??????????????? ->Grab a ddpai direct from the ddpai store on AliExpress, half the price of pbtech
