Drift Innovation - Ghost XL

Drift ghost XL £150. Using it everyday for a year. Best value for the money

I have a Drift Ghost XL with an adhesive mount to the helmet. I like it, lasts 1-2 weeks between recharges. The app is useless, and mic will only pick up wind when you're riding but I most of the time it's set and forget.

Drift ghost XL on 1080 dash cam mode gives you 4h of recording and is not bulky can be on a side of the helmet, also I have a cheap VSYSTO dash cam with front and rear cameras on my bike always recording so I will be covered, I have an insta 360 X4 battery last good as well but I don’t use it for dash cam more to recording some rides, gives you the best shot.

I use a drift ghost XL as frustratingly i haven't found another camera that meets my needs as well as it does the company has crap customer support and the cameras are known to be unreliable though... i'm on my third one. i see it as a consumable that gets replaced when it inevitably dies - which is every 2-ish years ime

ghost drift xl maybe? on the helmet, 7 hours battery life, good enough for most "insurance" needs.

Dji osmo action 5 pro forward facing. On hyperlapse recording. Varia 715 rear facing. I tried a ghost xl, but needed to return it, as it was unsuitable for me.

Helmet cam > handlebar cam I use a Drift Ghost XL. It's an older model, just 1080p so it soesn't always get a good read on fast-moving plates - no big deal, just call out plates in NATO phonetic for the audio. But it's light, sturdy, the battery lasts a week of commuting, and I don't need a huge SD card. I've heard some iffy things about the higher-res Ghost models. I'd probably try one if my XL dies but I feel no burning desire to upgrade. I briefly tried a Innovv H5. I do left-side mount (I'd take out a top mount in a week) and it was just too much leverage on a lightweight bike helmet, but it was a really nice camera and I'd highly recommend it.
