My personal recommendations would be Thinkware, Viofo, or FineVu. FineVu is not as popular as the first 2, but they make some decent cameras as well at very reasonable prices. Some models you can look into: Viofo A119 Mini 2 - 2K QHD front with Sony Starvis 2 FineVu GX400 - 2K QHD front with Sony Starvis 1 Thinkware Q200 - 2K QHD but night vision is not as good as the previous 2. Can get a good deal if you can catch it on sale though. If you are willing to consider front + rear, you can check out the FineVu GX35 which is 2K front + 1080P rear with Sony Starvis 2 and HDR in the front.

FineVu and Thinkware are usually my go-to brands. Both are Korean-made dash cams and are known for their reliability. Both of mine are hardwired for parking mode recording. Some might say Viofo as well, but I'm not personally a fan of their bulky design. I'm sure they make great cameras though, from looking at the specs. I would generally recommend going with a reliable and reputable brand. They may cost a bit more than the generic dash cams you see on Amazon, but the quality and reliability are much better. When you actually need the footage after an incident, you want to be confident the camera was recording properly. I’ve heard many stories of cheaper Amazon cameras failing to record or not working when it mattered most

FineVu 3 years warranty and can easily be wired for parking mode by buying the obd port hard wired kit very simple. Can download videos from the Dashcam to app
