"We have traveled to 3 countries with it, set it up on taxis etc."
"Super easy. ... Took about 20-30 minutes"
"sets up in under 3 min including stake out time. ... Take down is just as fast and it fits in its storage bag with out much fuss. ... set up in under 90 seconds 120 if you putting in stakes."

"it’s been working amazing these past 2 years I’ve had it."
"Idk about upgrade but I’ve had a glorious model-o for going on 5 years with zero issues"
"I’ve had mine for around 3 years still haven’t had any problems like double clicking"

"Can't see it at all! ... it is 100% hidden away. ... if it wasn't for seeing the bottom .25" of the back camera you wouldn't know it's there"
"FitCamX is obviously the best if you want OEM style fitment"
"Best thing about it is the OEM look. ... It replaces the rearview mirror housing with the company's housing that has a 4k camera integrated to it and plugs in directly into the rain sensor for power."

"I have U3000 and night vision is great. ... I was rear ended 3 days after install at night and footage shows every expression on the ladies face as she slammed into me."
"records clear enough in day and night to submit to insurance or a YouTube channel"
"i want the best resolution camera back there, and the dual ones out there, including fitcamx, all have 1080p res. the viofo is 4k ... the last 5 cars have all had front and rear cameras, and at least 3 times we got punted in the rear, not once in the front. one time some dumbass ran in to us at the wendys drive thru. another was when we were stopped at a red lite."

"But honestly - the fitcamx just for the front is perfectly fine for 95% people and gives you protection for on the road events."
"the footage was fully recovered and irrefutably proved the other driver at fault."
"I keep a USB-C/A micro SD card reader in all my vehicles so if there's an accident I can just grab the memory card with me. I had this save my bacon once when involved in an accident with a red-light runner."

"Recently had an accident without the front cam working, of course."
"They stop recording without you knowing though and when you need it the most you will notice that it hasn't been recording for months."
"constant white noise"

"The samsung app is junk. ... The app won't work for me. ... The wifi is broken on my unit."
"When I had an android phone it would be hit or miss with connecting to the app to the point of frustration."
"And android auto is a pita as it wants to constantly reconnect, actually had to disable the damn app."

"My Rav4 hybrid had it's battery drained from the FitcamX ... just last week it drained the battery and we were stuck. ... I did not know that the camera continues to draw power via the mirror even when the car is off (we do not have any parking mode turned on), and we didn't even leave the car off that long, it was literally 4 hours."
"Oh, on their web-site, it says that when the vehicle is locked, it turns off. So this is not a "sentry mode" option. ... As far as parking, plenty of use cases, two of which I've personally experienced: people backing up into your vehicle while you're parked. ... Hit and run is a great reason for parking cam."
"Only con would be that it doesn’t record when the car is off because of its power source."

"this video quality trash for a $200 dashcam? ... You can't even make out the license plate of the car that turned in front of me"
"very shitty video quality"
"during night time it recorded like a potato."

"I installed mine and it caused calibrations issues for the warning system. ... after the install the camera was working but while driving every few minutes the Collision Warning system error popped up. ... They had to recalibrate the camera."
FITCAMX dashcam (looks like it belongs to the car) Also bought a wireless AirPlay dongle, worked well BUT: my Waze navigation did not display in the instrument cluster, so had to ditch it :(
r/VolvoXC90 • The best xc90 mods I have made so far has to be the dash cam and the wireless receiver for the phone, how about you? What mods made your experience better? ->Fitcamx all day long. I do have an extra one to sell if you want.
r/ram_trucks • Dash cam suggestions? ->FitcamX. See it here. Looks like it came from the factory and zero wires to hide. [link to Video](https://youtu.be/Huno13u2mJY)
r/f150 • Best dash cams ->I haven’t had that problem but to be honest. I probably haven’t checked it maybe 3 or 4 times since I had it. When I did check it the videos were there. Maybe you got a bad one or maybe I just happened to get lucky. I have been happy with it so far.
r/f150 • Best dash cams ->It doesn’t actually integrate with the camera itself, just the best way of describing it that I could think of. The plastic trim piece that covers the camera normally comes off and is replaced with an identical one that has the extra wiring and camera for the dash cam so you can’t really tell it’s there. It’s [this](https://fitcamx.com/collections/for-kia/products/fitcamx-dash-cam-for-2022-2023-kia-ev6-kia-ev6-gt) specifically.
r/halifax • Dash cam - No better time than the present ->FitCamX. Install is pretty easy and it integrates very well. I have one on my 2022 and it works well. It’s interface to connect a phone to it to download videos is a bit clunky (it creates its own WiFi hotspot that you connect to), but you can always just pull the SD card to download videos if needed.
r/Polestar • Dash Cam ->We got an integrated dashcam for my wife's bolt. We replaced the stick-on dashcam. The installation was much easier than I thought it was gonna be. you pop out the original plastic cover, connect the plug and play harness and push the new dashcam integrated cover on and done. I am not sure I am allowed to post a link so I am just gonna put it in the comment.
r/BoltEV • Bolt Integrated Dashcam ->Better than the stick on one I got. It's clear at night and day. No complaints so far. Loop recording at 3mins. But I did change out the tf card though, I didn't want the card to go corrupt.
r/BoltEV • Bolt Integrated Dashcam ->I have the front only and the standard setup was easy. I believe you can wire it in to your fuse box in order to allow it to record even while the car is off in the event of a crash but that seemed more than I needed
r/bronco • Fitxcam dash cam ->I've had mine installed for a year and no battery draining issues. I even have the rear cam option and it doesn't cause battery draining issues
r/Supra • GR Supra Dash Cam ->It was a bit challenging to install and get all the cables back in the right place. Downloading videos isn’t straightforward. But once installed you don’t notice it, and the video quality is good enough. I would buy it again.
r/rav4prime • can anyone share their experiences with the front FITCAMX 4k dash cam? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
