"the Bluetooth on the camera and the Bluetooth on the infotainment system of the truck are always in conflict. ... so you'll get connection issues if you don't turn off the Bluetooth in your truck settings. ... This is really frustrating when you need to show someone the footage in a timely manner."

r/BMWX5 • Dash cams installed? ->FitcamX front and rear. Even though our G05 has the Drive Recorder, this is added peace of mind in the event something happens and the BMW system does not pick it up. I have had previous instances where my dashcam picked up an accident in front of me and was able to send it to the affected party because they didn't have a dashcam. To me, peace of mind + accurate recount of any event is well worth the $200.

r/f150 • Best dash cams ->I haven’t had that problem but to be honest. I probably haven’t checked it maybe 3 or 4 times since I had it. When I did check it the videos were there. Maybe you got a bad one or maybe I just happened to get lucky. I have been happy with it so far.

r/ToyotaGrandHighlander • Fitcam X- worth the dashcam or another option? Installation review for rear? ->FitCamX. Install is pretty easy and it integrates very well. I have one on my 2022 and it works well. It’s interface to connect a phone to it to download videos is a bit clunky (it creates its own WiFi hotspot that you connect to), but you can always just pull the SD card to download videos if needed.
