"Can't see it at all! ... it is 100% hidden away. ... if it wasn't for seeing the bottom .25" of the back camera you wouldn't know it's there"
"It plugs right into the power source for the lane assist and hides inside the housing for it so I can basically just forget it’s there until I need to grab a clip."
"Excellent OEM-like look. ... Looks like it’s part of the car."

"it didn’t really fit the 991.2 ... none of them actually lined up. they all sort of sat “inside” the remaining oem housing half ... the big problem is because the fitcam housing was smaller there was no sane way to run the wiring. ... see how the fitcam opening is small? it is fully blocked by the mirror mount so you cant get wires through."
"It wasn’t as easy as the videos have you believe. Mainly, the two wires for the front and rear cameras are thick and they make the installation a little tricky. You need to find a groove on the left side of the mirror stem to tuck them in before you can clasp the two halves together."

"I struggled with the software though. ... My WiFi wouldn't connect and when it did it would disconnect alot. ... The troubleshooting steps said to download a different sw and that worked for me."
"To connect to the cam, you have to temporarily disable AA from the phone connection."
"Downloading videos isn straightforward."

"Average picture - pretty good during the day, oversaturation at night might prevent LIC plates from being readable"
"The rear is a bit fuzzy at night even at the highest resolution"
I have a fitcam and it's fine. Love how integrated it looks.
It's not as good as my last one but I do like the convenience of being able to review footage on my phone.
Installed a fitcamx front/rear unit in mine, works great. Just be sure to get the 4k one.
Take a look at FitCamX. I installed the front and rear unit and was really pleased with how flush it looks. It is really slick and has a solid mobile app. My X5 has Drive Recorder but I just wanted the added peace of mind. https://fitcamx.com/products/fitcamx-dash-cam-for-bmw-x5-g05-2019-2023
FitcamX front and rear. Even though our G05 has the Drive Recorder, this is added peace of mind in the event something happens and the BMW system does not pick it up. I have had previous instances where my dashcam picked up an accident in front of me and was able to send it to the affected party because they didn't have a dashcam. To me, peace of mind + accurate recount of any event is well worth the $200.
I'll put the link of the one I use. It has good resolution and all. The plus is that it looks fully integrated with the car. https://fitcamx.com/collections/honda-civic/products/fitcamx-dash-cam-for-honda-pilot-2023-2025
I love it; it was super simple to install, and it looks great as well when looking at the video. I enjoy how it doesn't stand out when looking at the car.
Its a FitcamX aftermarket dash cam. I have the dual camera set up on my 2020 Rav4
I know you want something below $100, but I use the fitcamx fitted explicitly for the Corolla. https://a.co/d/fN3ScpN
5 from me here. It works great. The user interface can be a little clunky — you have to disconnect your phone from the vehicle in order to connect the phone to the camera, but it connects fine and works smoothly once you do that.
Damn! That’s good to know. My best friend just picked up a ‘25 and I had recommended this to him. Will let him know it’s not compatible. Hopefully they release an updated, compatible version soon.
I have a ‘24 Badlands with Lux and it works perfectly. If the reviewer said it only took him 3 minutes to install and it doesn’t have power, I think they should have taken 5 minutes and made sure they fully plugged it in?
Yes. I’m pretty sure the default setting is for crash detection to be on but it can also be turned off in the settings.
I have the camera and lux package with no issues
I have one in my Bronco and my F150 they work great
4 for me. I love it. It works
Happy with mine. Works great and easy to put on. Camera resolution and quality was super surprising. Very clear
I have fitcamx. Installation was a breeze. Looks factory and amazing quality
It literally took me 12 min. The longest part was getting the plastic housing pryed off and just plugged in the new one and clicked it back in
I have the fitcamx and its cool but will sell and replace wirh a wolfbox trio in January
I have the fitcamx but will sell and upgrade to a wolfbox g900 tripro
Front camera is easy to install. Picture quality could be better. I recommend getting the model with the rear camera initially as it’s not that much more dollars and you can’t upgrade later. I installed the front myself and paid a car stereo store $50 to install the back camera. The lights are annoying at night they blink red and blue. I heard of a firmware update to fix this but FITCAMX support said no. This was fixed with a piece of black electrical tape. Overall I’d give the setup a 7/10. It’s very clean looking and easy to install but the camera quality could be a bit better.
