I'll put the link of the one I use. It has good resolution and all. The plus is that it looks fully integrated with the car. https://fitcamx.com/collections/honda-civic/products/fitcamx-dash-cam-for-honda-pilot-2023-2025
I love it; it was super simple to install, and it looks great as well when looking at the video. I enjoy how it doesn't stand out when looking at the car.
Its a FitcamX aftermarket dash cam. I have the dual camera set up on my 2020 Rav4
My toyota has a fitcamx that i insatalled myself, it was a smooth install, took about 30mins, since its a replacement for a trim piece its hard to tell its there unless you know. My subaru has 2 independent dashcams installed a long time ago so i dont know what they are, these were also installed by myself and took a bit longer due to wire management If your not handy enough id highly recommend you go with toyota and have them install it. Quality wise i honestly cant tell much difference between the once i got over 5 years ago and the fit cam. They are good enough for daylight and all of them are dog shit for night. (Though im sure you can spend big bucks and get camera's that are good for night too)
FitCamX wires right into the mirror and isn’t noticeable. 5min install, another 15min if adding rear. Great quality.
I have a FITMAX for the 2022-2024 model K5 and I can recommend it. There are definitely better cams out there but I really value the integration with the housing already. The installation was a bit more of a chore compared to a regular cam, but nothing crazy.
>FitcamX 4K for the EV6 I would suggest you get something from a better brand. I went through two FitcamX and both had the issue where they'd stop recording **with no warning or indication that they were not recording**. That is dangerous for a dashcam because you could get into an accident, go to pull the footage, and find it has not recorded anything for weeks or months. I am not the only one who had this problem either. https://www.reddit.com/r/KiaEV6/comments/1iybk8z/psa_avoid_fitcamx/ Personally, I got a VIOFO A329S. But there are many other good brands without the serious reliability concerns.
VIOFO A329. Works great. I absolutely do **NOT** recommend the FitcamX. I went through two. Both stopped loop recording randomly *with no warning*. Even with a high quality high endurance Samsung microSD card. This is very dangerous, as the camera lights up like it's recording and everything is fine. Yet after something happens and you go to get the footage, you notice there is nothing recorded at all for the past month+. It is not something you can rely on. Posted about it 11mo ago if you want more details on my experience: https://www.reddit.com/r/KiaEV6/comments/1iybk8z/psa_avoid_fitcamx/
