I’ve had this camera for a year. It’s easy to install, downloading footage is easy, the app works good, camera quality is good. My only complaint is the hinge on the front camera becomes loose alllll the time. I’ll have to take the other commenter’s suggestion and try loctite.

Currently reduced from £190 from what I can see. Fitted it in an hour or so and runs off a cigarette port adaptor. There's a hard-wire kit for it too that adds more functionality but that was out of my skill range without paying a spark or mechanic or something. The quality is brilliant and you just download/change settings from a mobile app. If you are changing cars, you can remove the adhesive pads with nail polish remover and a decent craft knife, and the kit comes with additional pads for a second application to a new car. Failing that, you can buy new adhesive pads for about 6 quid online easily. The biggest thing is planning the cable management from the port to where you can start using the tool to put the cabling behind seals and interior lining. I bought cable management clips but they didn't stick too well to the dash, so ended up gluing them on with loctite and letting them settle for a day. If you do this, it will leave some white residue on the dash around the clips, but it can be cleaned off with white spirits.

Took me about 10 minutes and most of that was tucking the wires away and tidying them up. Front camera is quick and easy, rear one takes a bit longer

I've used azdome and gku d600 cameras. Both are budget cams, 4k, easy to use app. No night vision. Although the night vision should be enough to establish blame in an accident. I think you'll struggle to find a budget cam with good night vision.

I currently have this in my wife’s car. Works great. Clear video day and night (2.7k when using front and rear together or 4k front only). I use both front and rear cameras so it’s recording in 2.7k and it’s crystal clear. The customer support from GKU is great. They actually respond and help. They’ll even hook you up with promotions or ask you to test stuff for them and they let you keep the gear. Pretty neat. The app for it is easy to use and is quite useful like downloading straight to your phone if you need footage of something right away. My only complaint was the hinge on the front facing camera that attaches to the windshield can loosen over time. The screws just don’t stay tight, probably due to vibrations, so the camera will tilt up if you’re not paying attention. I used a bit of loctite on the screw and it’s been fine ever since. Overall it’s a great dashcam solution for the price. I’d recommend it.
