I had been eyeing this Mangoal Dashcam for awhile now because I loved how it seamlessly attached to the CVX5 without the need for dangling cables, etc. It literally just looks like part of the car. I installed it last night and (yes the app is a pain to work with at first) it works great! One big warning though, DO NOT turn on the Parking Sensor (can't remember what it's called exactly) if you only have it connected to the sunroof power. I turned it on just to test it out and the entire system starting freaking out and giving me warnings. I'm fairly certain it was because the battery was being drained. https://a.co/d/9UAXJnC I literally just bought this cam yesterday. I like the OEM look of it. It seems really easy to install. The front cam is in 4K and the rear cam is 1080P.

My wife bought me the Mangoal camera on Amazon that integrates into the cx-5 sunroof. I really love it. Install wasn't too painful and it just works well. Good quality video too. It's already captured much needed recordings. Parking mode is a must. It looks like Mazda built it. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Yep, that sounds about right. The only second take I had was when plugging in the harness adapter back to the sunroof power plug, the provided plug sits out further than the OEM factory plug so I thought I wasn't sitting in the plug receiver all the way but it was.

I had to run it behind the rubber grommet on the trunk door and didn't crack open the plastic housing on the window, hence it has the extra cable exposed. It was pretty easy to do, I followed the installation video on youtube and it installed exactly as they did it. It's pretty easy to view and download videos via the app, since it is downloading the video over wifi it's not the quickest but works in a pinch. Other option is to take the memory card out and view the files on a computer. They claim 4k quality on the forward looking camera but I find it to be 1080p+ with an extra wide viewing area. It does the job decently but doesn't seem to be true 4k. The rear camera is spec'd at 1080p and it looks fine at that quality.

I have the mangoal 4k dashcam for my s550 and its worked well. Hides behind the rear view so cant even tell one is installed. I went this way because I have a convertible and I leave the top down about 99% of the time. Picked it up from Amazon and it was an easy install.

I have the Mangoal 4K that looks like it came from the factory already installed. I also installed one in my wifes car as well. This looks neat no wires uses the auto dim power on rear view mirror to power the camera.

So I bought the Mangoal one for my 2025 Tahoe Z71...looks like a factory option, and recording is really good. So far I am very happy with it.

I have a Mangoal dashcam. I really like that it has an OEM appearance without wires and 12v plugins. The only drawback is that it is a little too inconspicuous. I feel that some people are better behaved around cars where it is obvious that they are recording traffic.
