I have the viofo a129 plus duo. Front and rear camera. Pretty good but basic app. My wife has the nexar pro. Records good swel, but the app is better. Tracks GPS and sends brake alerts to family members on file. Invite memeber to view camera. I had mine for a year and wife since 2019
I myself use the Nexar Pro. I haven't had any issues with the app that comes along with it, but I know others have. (But really when hasn't this happened). Overall the cam is great, wide angle, 1080p, tracks speed throughout the whole drive, maps what you drove that day, and has cloud storage if you want more than what you have installed into the cam. My friend uses a escort dashcam along side his radar detector as it attaches right to it, and I have yet to hear an issue he has with it.
Many dashcam companies are scam work, meaning their cameras themselves come from the same company, just different body, packaging, build and brand, then varies in prices. Mine is Nexar, not too expensive, entry level and pretty solid 1080p. Any camera claiming 4k is bullshit, trus me there is no dashcam with real 4k (only ads). Id say spend only up to 150-200 for dashcam and put it on yourself. Cables are suuuuper easy to hide going up from the windshield, to the side, down past your carpet, then up to your charging area. Dont waste too much money to buy labor unless you dont care about money and got a ton of it, go ahead youre more than welcome. Edit: Youll see 4k selling around 300-400 bucks. They might be real but i never really try it because i dont think they really that worth it.
Nexar is actually a good one if you donβt use wireless CarPlay/AA. It maintains a WiFi connection with your phone and videos are stored there as well as the camera. Makes it easy to review the footage.
VIOFO is one that a lot of people get and I've fitted one on another car our family has. I currently use Nexar but I'm also thinking about getting another VIOFO cam. Idk if VIOFO make dashcams using other sensors but just make sure you get one with the Sony sensor. Video quality is really good on all of their cams and there are plenty of videos showcasing the quality too. Just be aware (idk if this is for all dashcams), if you want to hardwire it to use the Parking Mode, you will have to purchase the hardware for that separately. When we bought everything it came up to Β£115 or Β£120?
I used Nexar for years. In multiple cars as well, I had bought it in 2018. Still holding up excellent but I wanted a higher quality video and a rear view as well so I just recently got REDTIGER. Check in with yβall in a few years haha
Thatβs what it took for me to get a dash cam. Getting hit from a person making a wrong turn and then lying about it to both of our insurance companies. Nexar one recorded front and cabin but you def need that rear one for more protection.
I have the Vantrue. Great cam hard to get the video off it. Nexar is the best. That will be the next if I ever need another.
I got a Nexar and a uniden
I use a nexar, super easy to install and use. Worth ever penny. It has saved me twice with insurance and assisted police with hit and runs as well a other people with I witness and they dont have a cam.
Yeah but it doesn't appear that they have lte. You have to connect to the device through wifi when sitting in the car which sucks. The best camera I could find was the Nexar. Great picture quality. I get front and rear footage. I can livestream from anywhere in the world and get events like a home security system. Tracks the car in the app and ties location and speed with the footage. You can actually read license plates. It also holds up very well with 8k watts rms of bass in the GLC. Doesn't fall off. Even the rear cam doesn't budge and it's sitting right above the subs.
No. Get a Nexar dash cam. You can track the vehicle and it's clear enough you can read license plates. Plus you can connect a rear cam to it. Everything is in the Nexar app and the cam is 4g connected. I wouldn't rely on MB.
Nexar detects motion and starts automatically when you drive or vehicle gets bumped.
