I have the Nexar Pro since day one of being placonfor sale. Something like 3 years now. The first year I had it, they were still working out bugs in the software, but now no issues
r/Dashcam • What model dash cam do you have and how long has it been going for? ->As someone that got a new 256gb 970x dual for like 350 last year after taxes, can assure you it’s not worth it for 500. And I see the plus is 540 plus taxes for me, where are you from? My cams are great, but that’s kind of the expensive side. I’d wait for Black Friday honestly, got mine from Amazon around then if I’m not mistaken If you want something cost effective, get a 590x dual but with a higher memory option. For their prices, they’re quite nice, and nevertheless, BlackVue and Thinkware are definitely great brands. Garmin and Viofo are good too, and just avoid nexar - I have a pro, beam, and a one lying around someone as they all suck 😂
r/Dashcam • Worth the extra money for the sensor? ->Good suggestions. My nexar pro sucks and its its my second dash cam from that company. They only last two years before they start having problems. 😐
r/orlando • Dash Cameras ->I have the viofo a129 plus duo. Front and rear camera. Pretty good but basic app. My wife has the nexar pro. Records good swel, but the app is better. Tracks GPS and sends brake alerts to family members on file. Invite memeber to view camera. I had mine for a year and wife since 2019
r/civic • Best affordable dash cam? ->I’m upgrading from a Nexar Pro from 3-4 years ago. The customer service was terrible looking to try out another company and I saw the A329. How drastic will this change be?
r/Dashcam • VIOFO A329 TESTING AND REVIEW ->I myself use the Nexar Pro. I haven't had any issues with the app that comes along with it, but I know others have. (But really when hasn't this happened). Overall the cam is great, wide angle, 1080p, tracks speed throughout the whole drive, maps what you drove that day, and has cloud storage if you want more than what you have installed into the cam. My friend uses a escort dashcam along side his radar detector as it attaches right to it, and I have yet to hear an issue he has with it.
r/Audi • Dashcams - Audi's or Aftermarket? ->Many dashcam companies are scam work, meaning their cameras themselves come from the same company, just different body, packaging, build and brand, then varies in prices. Mine is Nexar, not too expensive, entry level and pretty solid 1080p. Any camera claiming 4k is bullshit, trus me there is no dashcam with real 4k (only ads). Id say spend only up to 150-200 for dashcam and put it on yourself. Cables are suuuuper easy to hide going up from the windshield, to the side, down past your carpet, then up to your charging area. Dont waste too much money to buy labor unless you dont care about money and got a ton of it, go ahead youre more than welcome. Edit: Youll see 4k selling around 300-400 bucks. They might be real but i never really try it because i dont think they really that worth it.
r/CX50 • Dash Cam ->Nexar is actually a good one if you don’t use wireless CarPlay/AA. It maintains a WiFi connection with your phone and videos are stored there as well as the camera. Makes it easy to review the footage.
r/BMW • What dashcams are you guys running? ->I like Nexar. Uniden r8 for the radar detector, you’re gonna want that too. With our cars it pays for itself after one use lol
r/Charger • Best dash cam? ->Absolutely man! If you pull the trigger on the r8 I believe it’s on sale on Amazon for around $600 right now (the extra few hundred is worth it for the added range and arrow/multiple bogey features so you know what direction the radar is from and if there happens to be two cops driving half a mile apart, it’s a tactic they do so you think you passed the radar source but then there’s another), and you’ll want to download a companion app on your phone too so it can learn all the K-band along your usual routes and auto-mute them for you. On Apple it’s “r8 companion” on the App Store. As far as the dash cam Nexar has ones that also detect “movement” (aka someone hitting your car) and records that event even if you’re not driving.
r/Charger • Best dash cam? ->VIOFO is one that a lot of people get and I've fitted one on another car our family has. I currently use Nexar but I'm also thinking about getting another VIOFO cam. Idk if VIOFO make dashcams using other sensors but just make sure you get one with the Sony sensor. Video quality is really good on all of their cams and there are plenty of videos showcasing the quality too. Just be aware (idk if this is for all dashcams), if you want to hardwire it to use the Parking Mode, you will have to purchase the hardware for that separately. When we bought everything it came up to £115 or £120?
r/drivingUK • It's been over a week, I think I'm past the point of crying now (dash cam footage) ->I used Nexar for years. In multiple cars as well, I had bought it in 2018. Still holding up excellent but I wanted a higher quality video and a rear view as well so I just recently got REDTIGER. Check in with y’all in a few years haha
r/phoenix • Affordable car dash cams that can survive the Phoenix heat? ->That’s what it took for me to get a dash cam. Getting hit from a person making a wrong turn and then lying about it to both of our insurance companies. Nexar one recorded front and cabin but you def need that rear one for more protection.
r/phoenix • Affordable car dash cams that can survive the Phoenix heat? ->I’ve just got a cheap camera from nexar, it just shoots video while I drive nothing fancy but the shit I see out there on the roads daily here in NY requires me to have a dash cam or else I’d be at the mercy of liars and road raging assholes when shit does inevitable go down.
r/GolfGTI • Opinions on Dash Cams? ->My nexar keeps disconnecting it makes me check the app open it and connect to Bluetooth every damn time. It’s a pos. Anyone have a dash cam that stays connected ??
r/dashcams • What is the best dashcam in your opinion? ->I have a Nexar that just plugs into the usb. Had it for multiple vehicles and it works well.
r/ToyotaTacoma • Whats a good Dash Cam for a Tacoma? (TRD Sport 2023) ->Nexar is an okay price point and quality. It's not the best but it's like $100 and easy to install, the clips download straight to your phone.
r/Insurance • Those in the auto insurance industry: what dash cam do you recommend? ->I’m gonna put my two cents in here I went through Garmin, Nexar , and Rove. But this is the best [https://a.co/d/aloq3x8](https://a.co/d/aloq3x8). It replaces your rear view mirror. https://preview.redd.it/ebirknkj21ee1.jpeg?width=2268&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fb99d5bab0e122dff7c30d8643eff51097a6b0fb
r/BroncoSport • Anyone have a dashcam setup they like for their Bronco Sport? ->I used Nexar for several years, but changed to the Thinkware U3000 because is has front and rear cameras. There is also radar for when parked. You should also look into a separate hotspot so it can send alerts to your phone.
r/ToyotaHighlander • Just joined the club! Dash cam recs? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
