I've have the nextbase 320xr in both my cars and have been happy with them. Come with both a front and rear camera. They offer a hardwire kit if you want it and it has a parking mode. Good timing looking for dashcams considering black friday is here

I put the Nextbase 320xr in both my cars and am quite happy with them. I think i got one from best buy and one from amazon. It does everything I need it to: record in front of and behind me. The cameras attaching to the mounts with magnets is convenient so I can just pop them off when I want to

I can recommend nextbase, if you need a budget one, Best But usually has the 320XR in stock. I have that one in my ES, it’s proven me not liable in two separate accidents (one was a parked collision). If it’s good enough to prove I wasn’t at fault even at night where cameras can have a harder time showing a clear picture, it’s good enough for me to recommend to others. I will say this, since you are in Texas, if you do decide to go with a 320XR, order the suction mount online because the sticky tape version is not going to hold up in the heat at all. Also park under shade if possible.

I've had cheap dashcams and been failed by them. I always go for Nextbase now. there is a Nextbase refurbished shop on Ebay which has some bargains. [https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/nextbaseofficalstore](https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/nextbaseofficalstore) Make sure you buy a video capable microSD card

I got a basic nextbase 320XR from Halfords last year. It seems fine. I've taken footage off it a couple of times. If you are going to do it you might as well get front and rear cameras. I installed it myself but I didn't wire it up to the battery. I just use the cigarette lighter. I just make sure to turn it off after every drive. I think a dashcam is a no brainer these days.

There are really good comparison videos on YouTube, if you’re willing to order online. Halfords occasionally have the Nextbase 320xr front and back camera with SD card for €119. It has a parking mode whereby it’ll detect movement and switch on for 30 seconds and record, without being hard wired. This does flatten the battery in the camera itself very quickly though.

My wife and I have Nextbase models the 522GW and the 320XR. Both seem fine quality wise although there is more functionality with the 522GW. Whatever brand you go for ensure you get both the front and rear.

Nextbase I have 522GW with review camera too.  Had it a few years and going strong.  Buy a Nextbase SD card  My wife has the 320 series with rear view only difference is it doesn't connect to the app. I think Halfords have or had a deal on the front and rear view cameras. I believe there latest is the Pico but read you need a subscription with it.

Does it have to be plugged in all the time? Just thinking of getting one for the rear window as my nextbase duel camera doesn’t get a good enough view out the back

I switched to a FITCAMX front and rear camera system from a Nextbase two camera system only to realize that the FITCAMX two camera setup isn’t available as a motion sensor system. It only works when the vehicle is running or with only the front camera hooked up to the fuse panel. You can’t have it both ways. When I bought the FITCAMX dual camera system it wasn’t explained in the sales info. The camera install was easy and fits perfectly with the rear view mirror housing but is lacking in the parking feature which I had and liked with my old cameras.
