Nextbase - A262(W) Dash Cam

I have the Nextbase A262W. Its really good. The GPS is in the window mount, so it has great reception. It uses a capacitor instead of battery so you don’t need to worry about battery degradation over time. I bought the hardwire kit and wired it up so it has park mode that auto saves when it detects movement while parked. The hardwire kit also has a voltage switch so it will completely disconnect if the car voltage drops too much to prevent the car from turning off. I also recently addressed the back camera, it connects via usbC to the main camera and records both files on the same SD card. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Had a nextbase front and rear installed at Halfords, had no issues whatsoever. I also advise to get the hardwire kit, its £25£, and it connects directly to the fuse box instead of the 12v Socket, in case you need it. In my case, the 12V socket is used for my coolboxes, i didn't want to be disconnecting the camera when i need to use them. Think in total was about £250, i bought the kit on offer with a good discount. The installation was done properly and the panels were all lined up properly afterwards.

Toyota branded Nextbase unit, installed by dealer. Quality is only average but the install is very neat (no visible wires at all) and the camera easily clips in and out. There's a Toyota Dashcam app to view it or you can take out the SD card or the whole camera and connect to pc.
