Bro, the same kind of thing happened to me a while back at Banjara Hills. The signal turned green and I was taking a proper turn when suddenly this bike jumped the red light and smashed straight into my car. The guy hit my windshield and bumper, and the damage was bad. But guess what? Everyone around started blaming me—saying I must’ve hit the bike. No one even bothered to look at the signal or what actually happened. A few even said, “You’re in a car, he’s on a bike taxi, you should compensate.” I was shocked. In the end, I had to shell out money not just for my car repairs but also to fix his bike and compensate him because he couldn’t work for a few days. That incident made me get a dashcam immediately. I’ve been using CP Plus works well. Qubo is pretty decent too. Just make sure you have both front and rear cameras set up. These days, even when I ride my bike, I see the same madness people riding like there are no rules. Honestly, I’m even thinking of getting those Meta sunglasses next at least they’ll capture everything in real-time.
r/hyderabad • After today, I’m buying a dashcam ASAP! ->Qubo has super capacitor. Lithium ion tends to get hotter. But 70 Mai 510 many are using in India. So no issues with that.
r/CarsIndia • What is the Best Budget Dashcam out there for both front and rear ->Qubo Dashcam pro I've been using for the last 2 years crazy performance with both front and back coverage, has the Sony Starvis sensor worth for the price i paid and avoided mentally frustrating talks I needed just showing the proof and making their fuckin stinky mouths shut
r/hyderabad • After today, I’m buying a dashcam ASAP! ->QUBO is good, I returned QUBO for Red Tiger but actually like QUBO.
r/hyderabad • After today, I’m buying a dashcam ASAP! ->Almost under the control of a similar budget, I went with the [Qubo dash cam](https://www.quboworld.com/dashcam). It is within your range, videos in good quality, and operates using the car charger port, no issues there. No battery inside but rather a capacitor, which I found better in heat (I am in India, and summers can be pretty cruel too). Worked really well in daily use so far.
r/CarsAustralia • DASHCAM ON BUDGET ->I will tell you what not to go for. Qubo. I have had the worst experience with it. Took over 2 months to replace the defective product that they sent which had troubles starting after return window period finished on Amazon. But now even the replaced product is starting to have issues software related. I got tired of contacting the support again and again, and am maintaining it with some jugaad. Edit: And as others have suggested in the comments, 70mai is good.
r/CarsIndia • Op got a new car, which dashcam to get? ->Qubo dashcam pro X
r/carIndia • Is it okay to use two separate dashcam for front and rear instead of dual channel? ->I have Qubo. It is the best. Go for it without any second thoughts.
r/CarsIndia • Looking for a good dashcam – Qubo vs 70mai? Or is there something better? ->First thing on the buy list: dash cam with good wide angle lens. BTET. Qubo is a decent choice. Trying to understand more about the incident, where did this happen? At what time? Colony bylanes? Main street? What speed were you at? Were you calm? Riding a car is a tough challenge, no doubt. Driving through a residential area with high population density is worse even to imagine. As a parent and with a family active in cycling for commuting and fitness, we often come across situations where the fault lies at both ends. Kids play, ride on the streets, as they do not have the luxury of a park or play area nearby. Kids in my neighborhood get to play during non peak hours on streets, vigilant as most of them are alerting other kids to watch out as a car/bike enters the lane. Some become more playful mostly try to mock a passing car/bike. That's how they are. Our street, the last lane of the gated colony connects to the main road. Outsider car/bike enter/exit the lane and speed up honking as they pass. A very dangerous unpredictable situation, often taken for granted. What they don't understand is that the speed needs to be within safe limits in a residential zone even if the street seems empty. When passing through bylanes, lanes within colonies, gated and ungated communities, it is ALWAYS the responsibility of the driver to be extra vigilant, drive at a slow speed or stay within the limits of the posted speed sign. This becomes a priority when there are no pavements at all. Ride safe, stay safe.
