"Red tiger has the same issue. You can be connected to one WiFi connection at a time and since CarPlay connects Bluetooth and WiFi, if you connect to the camera, you disconnect from CarPlay. Then the Bluetooth kicks you back onto CarPlay again, booting you out of the camera. Basically you can only access the camera data by disabling Bluetooth and then disconnecting CarPlay to connect to the camera."
I just installed Red Tiger A4 cam and was able to self install the wiring cleanly, ran it through the headliner at the top down the A pillar into the right side of the glovebox’s 12V. One day I’ll get it wired into the fuse box but it works fine for now while driving.

r/nova • Best time for a dash camera is before the accident, or hit and run, not after or hoping others videoed it. ->I just got a redtiger front and rear cam with hardwire kit for my 2018 hatch. Picture is good, camera is easy to use, has parking mode, and an app to access the live feed of the camera and all recorded videos in real time.

r/ram_trucks • Dash cam suggestions? ->I’d also highly recommend the redtiger rear and front dash cam on Amazon, on sale for 85$ I believe, the customer service is rlly good and they sent me free replacement adhesive cuz I fucked up the first one as well as a longer usb c cable and a hardwire kit when I decided to go in that direction. I downloaded the vids and they were both really clear and I can make out license plate easily. Not affiliated but just thought the product was good, I installed one in my dad’s car as well.

r/NoRulesCalgary • Dash cam recommendations ->I have a REDTIGER dash cam front and back. 4K front and 1080 back 👎🏽 lol. Does the job perfectly fine. Only thing is their power source comes from connecting into a cigarette 12v port. They got rid of those. Dumb move. I got a usb-c to cigarette port attachment that lets me use it while driving. The fuse box inside didn't give me a fuse that was ACC. Didn't want to do extra work and go under my hood so I can't use parking mode. Still worth having though
