"Also, the old dash cam is pretty handy if a cop pulls you over. Kind of a nice feeling when the cop realizes that anything he or she says may be used against them in a court of law."
"I've still had zero problems after 3 or 4 months."
"Basically in South Korea, if you can’t show the police who caused the accident, then it’s a “no fault” accident."

"The screen burned out within a year"
"The only one that failed on me was in my side by side UTV and it shit the bed only after being hit with the pressure washer for like the 20th time."
I just installed a Redtiger F4 in the front only ( I will add a rear if I like it)
So, I'm torn on RedTiger. I evaluated one of their F4s and still have it as a secondary cam on my car. But early this year I hit pavement height change really hard and went back to the footage to see if their was a constructions sign or any posted warning about it. Guess what file was missing from the footage? Yep, the cam dropped the single file segment that I needed. If a dash cam drops looses the files when you actually get hit, what good is it?
I would have thought so, but no such folder or file I could find. And support never replied when I asked. The folders that were on the card are "Movie\_F", "Park\_F" & "Photo\_F". I made a copy of the entire SD card after the event and still have it.
I bought Red Tiger 4k front and rear for both my wife's and my car. Then I bought Red Tigers front facing camera for my jeep. They are both under 150 from Amazon
Redtiger 4k dash cam. Looks crystal clear.
I forgot to bring up the rear; she looks great, too!
Last September I did lots of research to find a good dash cam and I settled on a Red Tiger 4K on Amazon. At the time I paid ~$177 AUD. It’s both front and rear. Good quality image. Easy to install and has an app for phone too. Haven’t had to use any footage for any reason but did downloaded a few and they seem to have come through well. https://amzn.asia/d/dPbPcje
Low $100 should do the job. ROVE R2-4K Pro or REDTIGER 4K. I have both on different cars. Clear pics. On my ID4, I used Fuse #52. This is the rear trunk cigarette lighter power. Internet pic shows this #52 as one long Fuse, but it is not. It has two setup option, connect to the upper slot of #52, you will get power only when the car is On. I chose the upper slot setup. Lower slot of #52, then power is always On. YouTube has severals clips that show how to run and hide the cable. Be careful with the rectangular panel next to the door. You have to slide it to the side before pull out so you don't break it. One YouTube guy shows this briefly. It took 30-45 minutes to install front dashcam. I don't install the rear.
I just run a redtiger, States 4k on the front but not sure about it but still very clear. Front and Rear cam. Quality drops to HD if back is plugged in. Can save a video and get it up on the app instantly. $200. This is not hardwired as well. I'm guessing you want it hardwired if you're asking for installation.
I have a REDTIGER 4K which I love.
This is the one I have. It’s has a nice picture but I don’t like you have to go into the settings every time to download shit.
Cheap front and rear / 24h hi-res model (4k advertised) - RedTiger priced like 85 on Amazon rn worked for years for me. Definitely a foreign company with not the greatest app but I’ve never had trouble pulling video. Lets you put music and filters on your recordings too 😭
