LordEntrails 0.4So, I'm torn on RedTiger. I evaluated one of their F4s and still have it as a secondary cam on my car. But early this year I hit pavement height change really hard and went back to the footage to see if their was a constructions sign or any posted warning about it. Guess what file was missing from the footage? Yep, the cam dropped the single file segment that I needed. If a dash cam drops looses the files when you actually get hit, what good is it?
I would have thought so, but no such folder or file I could find. And support never replied when I asked. The folders that were on the card are "Movie\_F", "Park\_F" & "Photo\_F". I made a copy of the entire SD card after the event and still have it.

Galadriane 0.0Last September I did lots of research to find a good dash cam and I settled on a Red Tiger 4K on Amazon. At the time I paid ~$177 AUD. It’s both front and rear. Good quality image. Logan_2091 0.0I just run a redtiger, States 4k on the front but not sure about it but still very clear. Front and Rear cam. Quality drops to HD if back is plugged in. Can save a video and get it up on the app instantly. $200. This is not hardwired as well. I'm guessing you want it hardwired if you're asking for installation.

Wonderful_Software84 0.0Cheap front and rear / 24h hi-res model (4k advertised) - RedTiger priced like 85 on Amazon rn worked for years for me. Definitely a foreign company with not the greatest app but I’ve never had trouble pulling video. Lets you put music and filters on your recordings too 😭
2nd-most-degenerate 0.0Got the RedTiger one in 2023. No major complaints. Video quality good, day and night. Get a polarising lens if you want, I didn't notice too much difference. Minor complaints: 1. The front cam can sometimes fall off if it's too hot outside 2. WiFi file transfer is way too slow. You can watch clips on your phone, but you probably won't have the patience to download 2 or 3 Also as others pointed out, unless you can figure it out yourself, it's about another $150-200 to hard wire it.
