I have a redtiger F4 pro with hardwire kit for parking mode which I’m mostly happy with.
I got a redtiger F4 pro with hardwire kit so I can use parking mode. It is ok. I would rate it 4/5. If you don't reformat the sd card every 15 days or so it will stop recording intermittently without notice. I also had an issue with the time change with dst. It took several days to finally accept my time change. Both issues happened at the same time, so it was a bit frustrating. But overall happy with it. It's $100 on sale rn on amazon.
I have a Redtiger F4 pro front and rear and it’s decent for the price, app works great too downloading the footage over WiFi is easy
I have the REDTIER F4 Pro 4K Dash Cam (Front and Rear), which I installed in my '21 Forester Sport. It was so easy to install, and only took about 15 minutes. Did pick up a separate charging cable so that it would be hard-wired into the fuse box instead of plugged into the 12V socket. And I love it!
I just installed a Redtiger F4 in the front only ( I will add a rear if I like it)
So, I'm torn on RedTiger. I evaluated one of their F4s and still have it as a secondary cam on my car. But early this year I hit pavement height change really hard and went back to the footage to see if their was a constructions sign or any posted warning about it. Guess what file was missing from the footage? Yep, the cam dropped the single file segment that I needed. If a dash cam drops looses the files when you actually get hit, what good is it?
I would have thought so, but no such folder or file I could find. And support never replied when I asked. The folders that were on the card are "Movie\_F", "Park\_F" & "Photo\_F". I made a copy of the entire SD card after the event and still have it.
I have a Red Tiger front/rear camera combo that I got for like $100. It's great.
I run a duel channel Red Tiger cam i got off of Amazon. Woeks great. Really good night quality.
Front and rear...just in case some slams into the back of you. We have a hatchback and still put in the rear cam. We got the extra cable to put in so it can record in parking mode, too. I think, all up, with the extra mini SD card and cable, it was about $130...but it's worth it. The dual cam package was about $80 on sale. It's a RedTiger brand, and we haven't had any problems with it. Clear images, too. ETA: We also got one of the cables that monitor battery/voltage usage while it's parked, that way it shuts off if the power gets too low. They say to get one that overrides on the SD card when it gets full. Ours is supposed to do that, but for some reason it doesn't, but because we had to install an app on the phone, we just delete the files off of the phone (if we don't need them for insurance purposes.) We do that weekly. We've had way too many close calls to not have one. If you can't decide whether or not you should get one, check out r/IdiotsInCars \-- watch a few of those dash cam videos.
