"…then this happens the second day I had it. Driver comes flying in on a one-way road trying to get into Providence Place. Nearly wrecked into my two day old car! 🫣 Moral of the story: get the dashcam! ... I was paranoid about something like this specifically, someone doing one thing and then saying another to shift blame and having no proof. ... Yeah the dash cam was the right call LOL…seems like this is a common occurrence!"
"Also, the old dash cam is pretty handy if a cop pulls you over. Kind of a nice feeling when the cop realizes that anything he or she says may be used against them in a court of law."
"Basically in South Korea, if you can’t show the police who caused the accident, then it’s a “no fault” accident."

"Like $115 I think. Front and back cam. ... This is the REDTIGER 4k front and back cam on Amazon. I watched a bunch of reviews. There are more expensive ones and I may spring for one at another time but this one works really well so far."

Budget? Cameras in general aren’t cheap and you get what you pay for. If you want the current state of art in image quality on both front and back, redtiger f77 comes with IMX678 sensors on both cameras. This is the cheapest I’ve found with dual 4k starvis2 sensors. ₹26k. You can obviously go down from there. From dual channel to single channel, from 4k to 2k and 1080p, from IMX678 to lower tiers of starvis2 sensors. FWIW, 70mai A510 is the most popular dashcam by some margin. Should cost less than ₹15k for dual channel and less than ₹10k for front only. Has a 3k IMX675 on front which is very good for night recording. Unless you’re pinching pennies, I’d steer clear of systems which don’t have at least one Starvis 2 sensor.

I just installed a Redtiger F77 in mine, and it fit pretty well. If you want front and rear then two wires to the front cam is unavoidable for most cams because it needs power and it needs to be connected to the rear camera. There is however a dash cam that taps into the rear mirror and integrates pretty well, but you'll still have to run a wire to the rear cam. The F77 wasn't too difficult to install you just gotta run the wires along the headliner and tuck them in, then down the A pillar and tuck it in, then along the weather stripping and tuck it in. The rear cam do the same thing but run along the weather stripping all the way to the back. I put the excess cable for the rear cam under the driver seat, because I couldn't find a better place for it, but there really wasn't much slack left over. Get a hardwire kit with fuse taps and tap into the passenger side fuse box. There are two factory grounding points right above the fuse box, it's a tight and awkward spot so getting a terminal attached to one of those grounds was the hardest part of the install for me. edit: here's that cam that taps into the rearview mirrior if you're interested: https://fitcamx.com/products/fitcamx-dash-cam-for-2019-2021-ford-mustang?variant=41682634768556 I didn't go with it because I thought if I was going to spend that much on a dash cam I wanted a STARVIS 2 sensor and the F77 has it on both cameras.
I just bought a Redtiger F77, it has a 4k Sony Starvis 2 sensors on both cameras. Starvis 2 sensors are often considered the best for dashcams, and most dual cams have a lesser sensor on the rear cam.
Redtiger F77 ang pinaka malinaw on the market ngayon. 4k front, 4k back
RedTiger F77 with hardwire kit, and yes, I would recommend it. It isn't perfect (it has voice recognition that isn't great, but who cares?) ... but it has great images and a parking monitor, which I wanted.
RedTiger F77, hardwired to the car. The hardwire kit lets you set a threshold below which the camera stops getting power. I have never received the dreaded 12V drain from it. This dashcam's parking mode is not "live action" ... it's a time-lapse (takes a snapshot several times a second) unless a significant bump is felt, that will push it to record, PS over on the [https://www.macheforum.com/](https://www.macheforum.com/), they have a section for Sponsors. RedTiger is one, and that's where I first learned about it. Researching that forum, than more generally, it turns out to be highly recommended in many reviews. I believe Fitcamx has been positively mentioned as well...
I unfortunately cannot use the parking mode feature because I have a VW, but the quality and the app is solid. Only con would be that I got the 128GB model and that’s only good for saving 6-7 hours of footage.
I recently got the Redtiger F77 V2 with 256GB storage for my Virtus GT. Honestly, after using it for a few days, I noticed that the rear cam doesn’t give true 4K clarity in real world conditions. The slanted rear windshield and defogger lines in sedans like the Virtus affect visibility quite a bit. So even though it’s marketed as 4K, you might not fully benefit from it. A CPL filter might help reduce glare though unfortunately, Redtiger does not offer one for F77 yet. You can also opt for 70mai A810 which has CPL filter available online.
Get viofo or f77. Both have dual 4k with starvis 2. If you are thinking to get other sensor based 4k for rear it will be pointless as rear cam gets way higher glare frm hi beams at night that only a starvis 2 sensor can handle to show numberplates better. 2 cams mean two wires, two fuse points and getting footage will be a hassle. If there is any issue in rear cam you may not even realise soon as indicator lights wont be easily visible.
If you want solid rear video, out of those two only the F77 works. The rear cam on the A810 is only FHD and no STARVIS. If you are getting the F77 for 23k, that is an excellent price (the lowest I could negotiate was 26k). If F77 is 23k and A810 is 17k, then the delta is NOT 6k. Add 1k + 2k for the microsSD and parking kit to the A810. If you don't need parking it, add only the 1k. If you re price sensitive, consider getting the single 70mai A510 for front and 70mai M200 for rear, both are STARVIS 2. Total cost including two 128GB cards will be 17k.
It's likely that other post is by me. I'm waiting for my M200 to arrive (already have the A510). I've no doubts about the install, it's all very basic stuff. Are you getting the F77 for 23k directly from RedTiger or another seller?
Redtiger F7N Elite If you can afford, F77 which has Starvis 2 on both front and rear.
