"Yes so if you are on the road and want to access videos, there’s a free app and the camera can output a wifi signal. ... You put your phone in airplane mode, then turn on your phone wifi, and then connect to the devices wifi with the given password, you can stream and download the files to the app on your phone. ... It’s really easy. ... I’ve had no issue accessing files while out and about."
"The camera has its own wifi that you connect to with your phone and you can download videos from the camera while using the Redtiger app."

"Red tiger has the same issue. You can be connected to one WiFi connection at a time and since CarPlay connects Bluetooth and WiFi, if you connect to the camera, you disconnect from CarPlay. Then the Bluetooth kicks you back onto CarPlay again, booting you out of the camera. Basically you can only access the camera data by disabling Bluetooth and then disconnecting CarPlay to connect to the camera."

"With the hardwire kit for parking mode, things are a little dicier. ... The hardwire kit I have doesn't have a voltage adjustment so it does sometimes drain my battery enough so my car won't start. ... I don't necessarily drive my car every day. ... I believe they said that the voltage cut off is set at 11.8V and I think all my problems would be solved if I could boost it up a little higher. ... it is not an ideal situation."

I went with Redtiger F7N and skipped 70Mai. I needed an external rear powerful camera cause 70Mai goes inside the rear window and doesn't provide clear view in rains. Using it for 2 years and the customer support is fabulous too.
r/CarsIndia • What is the best dash cam?(looking for both front and rear) ->redtiger f7np, very happy with it for the price
r/CarsAustralia • what’s a really good dashcam i could get for the money? ->yes but 4k is overkill, i lower it down to 2k/1440p my self. the files are too big at 4k.
r/CarsAustralia • what’s a really good dashcam i could get for the money? ->Redtiger low profile dashcam. Got it 2 years ago and no issues whatsoever. Note: if you desire to run it as your proximity camera when vehicle is parked, use the one with interior facing cam as well. https://www.amazon.com/REDTIGER-Camera-Included-170%C2%B0Wide-Parking/dp/B098WVKF19/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?crid=23GZPT3VDTYNC&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.bJfIa99xDAJ1uLaHV0bnuI1cd3ONcxPg0QMzkqsIeAkAltUNM1a8jz6FbLdTPUung8cwb5ubUYllfg5DmwAckm7PEhyx_yF8Y3d58ktd7Mc8QA_I5eSpJ3s4uVWZPs2GUwfrNVfRlJsE_CorXIC1O9fbp_T-OYjhRxDy0fbfR9LgdJoBBWFOK-Ag9vmExpNeHEQ62lVvacbu3LTOpmtCbA.bh7rRUyBd7OkbhCOKe5FTw8euWyFdHKq7LMcXE8ESLM&dib_tag=se&keywords=redtiger+dash+cam&qid=1760790201&sprefix=redtiger%2Caps%2C144&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfYXRm&psc=1&smid=A1GFATNH1AT9IB
r/gmcsierra • Front and rear dash cam? ->https://a.co/d/bG7YhKY this one has done me well so far, little bit of a pain to have to turn it off every time and the quality isn’t the best but i’m sure i would be fine in the case of an accident
r/urbancarliving • Dash cam recommendations ->[red tiger](http://REDTIGER Dash Cam Front Rear,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B098WVKF19?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) This is the one i have in my ram, front and back . No jssues

r/ram_trucks • Dash cam suggestions? ->Deal of the day: REDTIGER Dash Cam Front Rear, 4K/2.5K Full HD Dash Camera for Cars, Included 32GB Card, Built-in Wi-Fi GPS, 3.16” IPS Screen, Night Vision, 170°Wide Angle, WDR, 24H Parking Mode(F7NP) https://a.co/d/6qvT9wS Great picture quality. Option to set up rear dash camera. Just make sure to install on side your rear window doesn't open to. Cables easily tuck into interior trim. Power connects to 12v DC power supply or you can directly connect it the circuit/fuse panel. Instructions are easy to follow.
r/nissanfrontier • Dash cam setups 23 Pro-4X ->As an insurance agent, I think EVERYONE should have a dashcam. Preferably one with front and rear facing cameras. There are some great 4k cameras out there with Bluetooth capabilities. Viofo has some great cameras that get amazing reviews, but they are expensive. For more budget conscious individuals REDTIGER F7NP is a great option as well that has wireless, but it’s not Bluetooth. We have them installed on all of our vehicles.
r/asksandiego • How many people here thought about a dash camera installation in their vehicle? ->I have the red tiger F7NP It comes with a back cam I don't have installed. And you could buy a separate hardwire adapter to reduce wires. Easy install. Mine hides behind my rearview mirror so it doesn't obstruct my view at all
r/GR86 • Dash cam recs? #gr86 #dashcam ->I second this camera! I’ve actually had to submit video to my local police on more than one occasion and each time the officer complimented the clarity of the video and asked where they could get one.
r/SubaruForester • Anybody use a dashcam or have any recommendations for one? ->I installed this in my 2017. It has both front and rear cameras with exceptional video quality - even at night. You can also buy a direct battery connection and use a surveillance mode when the truck isn’t running. It will take a picture every 60 seconds. REDTIGER F7N 4K Dual Dash Cam... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B08TT1RRGP?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Edit: forgot to add the link.
r/ram_trucks • Wondering if anyone has any Dash cam recommendations? ->I just got one on my truck in the last year or two, went with reviews/form factor and had to be a supercapacitor. [Settled on this one and couldnt be happier](https://a.co/d/bNpzcW4)
r/phoenix • Affordable car dash cams that can survive the Phoenix heat? ->RedTiger F7NP from Amazon and look for the "used" option. I have bought three of these as "used" and they are actually new, but packaging is damaged. Typically about $100. This includes a front and rear camera. I have them in all of my Subarus.
r/Crosstrek • Recommendations for Dashcam under $100 please ->I have the RedTiger F7NP on all three of my Subarus. It records front and rear (using 2 cameras). The video viewer shows location on map, 3 axis acceleration, speed, and location, and multi camera synchronization (front and rear). It has the resolution to read license plates at close range in good light. Speed, location, date and time is imbedded in video.
r/SubaruForester • Anybody use a dashcam or have any recommendations for one? ->I use mine to document police misconduct in their unlawful operation of patrol vehicles!
r/SubaruForester • Anybody use a dashcam or have any recommendations for one? ->[REDTIGER](https://www.redtigercam.com/products/redtiger-f7np-4k-dash-cam) comes with the hardwiring kit for parking mode. I would recommend adding the 3M mount. I’ve had mine for ~2 years now with zero issues. Just picked up another for my partners car.
r/wrx_vb • What Dash Cam do you have? ->I second this. I’ve had two red tigers over the years and the features and video quality are great. You can get one with a rear camera as well as have it hard wired into the car so you don’t have cords all over the place. Connects with WiFi and and app.
r/dashcams • What is the best dashcam in your opinion? ->I do. I just noticed the one I have even shows my MPH on the recordings, which it a cool feature. The one I have is on sale right now on Amazon, I’m on mobile and I don’t know how to add links but pop this in amazons search and it’ll come right up. REDTIGER Dash Cam Front Rear, 4K/2.5K Full HD Dash Camera for Cars, Included 32GB Card, Built-in Wi-Fi GPS, 3.16” IPS Screen, Night Vision, 170°Wide Angle, WDR, 24H Parking Mode(F7NP)
r/dashcams • What is the best dashcam in your opinion? ->There are 2 main pointers these days to keep in my mind before finalising a dashcam - capacitor instead of Li-ion battery and SONY STARVIS- 2 SENSOR for night vision. I preferred REDTIGER as it had capacitor battery and good night vision compared to other brands like 70mai, DDPAI or qubo even though they are the most brought dashcams in Indian market. https://in.redtigercam.com/products/redtiger-f7np-4k-dash-cam
r/CarsIndia • What is the best dash cam?(looking for both front and rear) ->Hey there, I got the REDTIGER F7NP installed last week in my car. Care to explain ‘inside rear window’ ? Isn’t it how all rear dashcams are installed ?
r/CarsIndia • What is the best dash cam?(looking for both front and rear) ->This dash cam is amazing, and it’s on sale. Can’t go wrong w an Amazon purchase. https://amzn.to/3I52w71
r/Dashcam • Amazon Dash Cam under €60. ->I am definitely no expert, but I have [this one](https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B098WVKF19?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title) and I can't complain. There are almost certainly better ones out there though, I'm just a casual amazon buyer.
r/Austin • Acquaintance unalived in road rage incident ->Came here and ended up getting Redtiger F7NP, so far it's great. Nice quality, and the app actually works (unlike Nextbase!)
r/dashcams • Budget Dashcams that keep coming up on Reddit ->The videos are 3840x2160 (front dashcam not rear) and the quality looks fantastic. I've been really impressed by this dashcam.
r/dashcams • Budget Dashcams that keep coming up on Reddit ->I've been really impressed with it, for a budget cam it looks great
r/dashcams • Budget Dashcams that keep coming up on Reddit ->I bought the redtiger last year and its broken now. It keeps shutting off after a few seconds and when i get it to stay on once in a while it says that i need to put in a memory card even though i put in a new one. It wont let me reformat through the camera either.
r/dashcams • Best Dashcam? ->Exactly what he said, only problem is wirelessly connecting to your phone via wifi. I have the F7NP model. It’s kind of a goofy system to transfer files, I just use the SD card provided and extract files with my PC. They claim to be 4K resolution in the front and 1080p in the rear, but I think they both look like 1080p. Still really clear though. Provided clear, valuable evidence numerous times. Functions for everyday use, I’ve had it for 3 years. The only issue I ran into was the SD card fill up and having to manually clear it in the first 6 months. Somehow the card started overwriting itself, honestly don’t know what happened but I’m not complaining. Overall, for the price, it’s worth it.
r/Dashcam • Any Opinions on Redtiger Dash Cams? I'd Like the Good, Bad & Ugly ->With coupon, $119. I have three, one in each of my cars. Touch screen, and some voice commands. Great customer service too. Previously owned Blackvue 750-2CH, always overheating. https://www.amazon.com/REDTIGER-Screen-Parking-Monitor-F7N/dp/B0C6YBHKJ5
r/COROLLA • Dash Cam Recommendations ->I bought the Redtiger F7NP and it fits pretty tight behind the rear view. I was able to very discretely run all wires except for a short length necessary to cover the gap to the rear window cam when the rear hatch is open. That has to dangle in order to still be able to open the hatch. The rear camera is so small that I have it tucked high and center on the rear window and cannot see it in the rear view. You will have to stick it to the glass and not the trim because the trim back there is suede/velvet like. It is super adhesive so consider this will you tint (I didn't so I'm not looking forward to the day I need to take the camera off) Quality wise I think this is great value for the money. 4K in front, can set to record on vandalize/bump if you hardwire it, easy to retrive via app (albeit slowly) Good luck choosing!
r/Porsche_Cayman • Dash Cams ->I'm using red tiger f7np since 2022. It's been great since day 1. It has all your requirements. https://amzn.eu/d/2Sxyv1b
r/DubaiPetrolHeads • Dashcam suggestions under 1000 AED (shortlisted DDPAI N5 Dual vs 70mai A810-2) — Need advice ->I also recommend the Red Tiger F7NP front/rear dash cam. I've had mine since April and I am **very satisfied** with it. I also purchased a dongar to power the cam from the rearview mirror power connection (*2017 Honda Ridgeline*). I don't use the WiFi function on my phone; it seems to be very slow trying to view or transfer event videos to the phone. I use the PC/Laptop app to view/save pertinent videos. With it; you can see both front and rear views simultaneously on the same screen.
r/dashcams • What is the best dashcam in your opinion? ->Amazon. It was like 60 bucks and so very easy to hide the wiring. It took about an hour to set up and front and rear camera.
r/nova • Buy a dashcam ->REDTIGER Dash Cam Front Rear,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B098WVKF19?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
r/nova • Buy a dashcam ->Sorry. Didn't realize it was over a 100 now. I think it was a prime day purchase. Regardless I bought after reading many of the reviews. It works as advertised.
r/nova • Buy a dashcam ->I have this and been happy, plus the hardwire kit which activates parking mode. No complaints.
r/CarsAustralia • what’s a really good dashcam i could get for the money? ->i think more importantly than quality, you want more FPS. The more frames per second, the smoother the video will be and more chance to catch the plate. Thats why i went with the Redtiger, but i think those others can capture at higher FPS as well... as long as you drop the resolution down
r/dashcams • Budget Dashcams that keep coming up on Reddit ->I have the Redtiger F7NP 4K Front Rear Dash Cam, however I'm using the just the front. The rear mounted outside is difficult to keep clean, and inside mounting leaves a lot to be desired.
r/askcarguys • Dashcam recommendations? ->Most of the advertisements give unrealistic results, the micro cards do not come with the units, and you're better off with a large card. Keeping it active while parked could run down your car battery so be aware of this.
r/askcarguys • Dashcam recommendations? ->I just installed the Redtiger F7NP. Easy install, decent quality front and rear, surprisingly robust options menu, and it’s cheap. Fits right behind the rear view so it doesn’t eat any visibility, and I just move the mirror when I need to see the screen. I’m not recording to share online or anything, just for some added peace of mind in case of bad drivers, so the price point and quality really work for me. They also sell a hardwired kit for parked recording, also cheap.
r/JeepGladiator • Best Dash Cams? ->Yeah I got one of these, wouldn't buy again. Had it bug out on me the day I was in an accident. Not sure why but I had nothing on the day or day before. The footage isn't well organized when saved. I've had to hunt, driving vids end up in the parked car saved folder, minor pain I guess. Quality is good, not 4k but more than good enough to pick up license plates. Has gps which is a bonus. Was an easy install too, came with a piggy pack plug for the fuse box, took under an hr to hide the wires for front and rear cams, and the parked car sensor does work well. Good, I'm still using it, but I'm wary and check it's working every day now. sounds like more reliable stuff is out there at the $200ish mark
r/australia • Best dashcam available in AU that isn't super expensive ->i just bought this (copied the thing from amazon): REDTIGER Dash Cam Front Rear, 4K/2.5K Full HD Dash Camera for Cars, 32GB Card Included, Built-in Wi-Fi GPS, 3.18” IPS Screen, Night Vision, 170°Wide Angle, WDR, 24H Parking Mode(F7NP) It was super easy to install, and comes with a back camera but i think thats gonna be a bit trickier to get right as the back door goes up so when installing will need to give some extra room for wire to go up as well. Video is clear and comes with an SD card. I looked at it on amazon for about 1 day and they endedip giving me a $50 discount if i bought within the next 15 mins. Ended up paying 135 CAD. which is not bad. Comes with an 18 month warranty.
r/civic • 2025 Sport Hybrid Hatchback Dash Cam ->Yeah the install was super easy. Was able to tuck the wiring in between the crevices along the top of car, didnt do anything to void the warranty. The front cam comes with a suction thing to attach to windshield. The gps portion attached to the suction thing can then be turned upward to really secure it. Does not come off easy. Quality of video is pretty good. No complaints so far.
r/civic • 2025 Sport Hybrid Hatchback Dash Cam ->I use [this one](https://www.amazon.com/REDTIGER-Camera-Included-170%C2%B0Wide-Parking/dp/B098WVKF19/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=MCVLC5CZJYF1&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.pMraDSsxPhcS1gP0VySDlzNHyCyFr0fw3St_7ihw5l77456AnPd0rnzHKCQrumrd1O5gu9QirMrzQSdUrEcxvfrYp9kjWJ8mm-hhn0B0zdOpubMAyFTBz5gjAZpH6lukqRjSoT9MSLi_Sf7Vk4Drp-6ONEqYnSge9zgiu56UUn6Jb9GzktitJyV3qX0NHoVugXOdCzqLees7kt0RmJgARgSmemH3M_M2tFhiCcuChL8.quen7sP2kJpedP_A-nEPRWQZW4_2CgRVLjadnM0vNSo&dib_tag=se&keywords=dash+cam&qid=1757356238&sprefix=dash+ca%2Caps%2C185&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1). The only issue I've experienced is that the SD card fails every \~6 months, but they only cost like $10 to replace. You get an annoying beep when it fails.
r/CalPolyPomona • Any dash cam recommendations? ->just bought this one last month would recommend
r/CalPolyPomona • Any dash cam recommendations? ->I got a red tiger dash cam from Amazon, and it has been great. https://a.co/d/1tNUXlY
r/rav4club • What dashcam should I get? ->I’ve posted this one a few times. I have had it in my 2015 and 2024 Outback and it’s worked great. It’s also amazing for the price. [REDTIGER Dash Cam Front&Rear](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B098WVKF19?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share)
r/Subaru_Outback • Recommendation on Dash cams 2025 outback ->I’ve posted this one a few times. I have had it in my 2015 and 2024 Outback and it’s worked great. It’s also a really good price. I’ve never had any issues with the eye sight in my 2024. [REDTIGER Dash Cam Front&Rear](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B098WVKF19?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share)
r/subaru • Dash cam people please let me know what your using and why? ->I recently wired my dash cam to my 2003 Corolla I used the ChrisFix How to video on Hardwiring a dash cam. I highly recommend it, and my camera works flawlessly. Make sure you have a multimeter! camera is a F7NP.
r/COROLLA • Do you install yourself a dash cam or went to a dealership or any other professional to do it? ->Get the REDTIGER f7np. I have it on my 17 86 and it’s the easiest hardwire and it’s front and rear. Timelapse recording when it’s parked. So you don’t miss anything. And has an app you connect to to download footage if needed. I can help you hardwire it too if you’d like. It’s super simple tbh
r/ft86 • Recommended installation of DashCam in a 2016 Subaru BRZ? ->I’ve had the red tiger for over 2 years now.
r/dashcams • Dashcam Recommendations on Reddit ->Eh, I wouldn't call the output "great". I'm pretty underwhelmed with mine, but the install does look nice.
r/Volvo • I highly recommend the FITCAMX for anyone looking for a dashcam. Very easy installation that looks 100% OEM. Great 4K video quality too. ->For the price we paid, I feel like it should be better. Or at least have some similar features of other cams, like a button to save/lock the current clip and have the option for GPS data.
r/Volvo • I highly recommend the FITCAMX for anyone looking for a dashcam. Very easy installation that looks 100% OEM. Great 4K video quality too. ->There aren't any that I know of which is why I paid the fitcam tax. I had thought about trying to use the housing to fit another camera (many of these cameras have the same internals) or maybe find someone that can design one that I could 3D print, but I went the easy route, instead. I did opt for the front 4k/rear 1080p version, so I did have to run the wire for the rear cam which is a hassle. It really wouldn't be much more of a hassle to run a hardwire kit from the fuse panel under the glove box, up the A-pillar and out the mirror cover in hindsight.
r/Volvo • I highly recommend the FITCAMX for anyone looking for a dashcam. Very easy installation that looks 100% OEM. Great 4K video quality too. ->I just got a Redtiger F7NP for $90 on Amazon. The deal is still going on from what I see.
r/dashcams • whats an affordable dual dash cam under 150 dollars ->Currently using the https://www.redtigercam.com/products/redtiger-f7n-4k-dual-dash-cam-refurbished pretty solid quality comes with both auxiliary power plug and hardware kit along with a rear camera and a trim tool
r/CivicSi • What dash cam are you running? Recommendations? ->https://a.co/d/iAeE95W This is the one I use and it has been great so far.
r/phoenix • Affordable car dash cams that can survive the Phoenix heat? ->I've been looking to buy one for myself as well, and here are a few I've found so far that you may or may not like, but I wanted to throw these out there: REDTIGER F7NP (front and rear) - Currently on a Black Friday deal on Amazon (was going for $200, and with a coupon, you're looking at a little over $100) Rove R2 (front and rear) - Black Friday again (was going for $200, now with a coupon about $120) VIOFO A119 Mini (front) - $86 Black Friday (was $130 before) GMAIPOP G900 (front and rear) - $60 on a Black Friday deal (was $80) ARIFAYZ Q4 (front and rear) - $60 on a Black Friday deal (was $100) WALMART: ODREY Dashcam - (front and rear) - $60 on a Black Friday deal (was $160) AUOSHI - (front and rear) - $77 now (was $370... could be an exaggeration) I feel like they all do the job of loop recording, accident "lock" footage, GPS, quick access to download and upload your footage, night vision, etc. I'm still doing my research because it's hard to pick when you have so many choices, and even cheaper ones have the same options as the ones that are $200. 😅
r/dashcams • Best Dashcam? ->UPDATE: After careful consideration, I have chosen the REDTIGER F7NP. It offers an 18-month warranty, ensuring peace of mind in case of any issues. Positive feedback regarding their customer service further influenced my decision. The installation process for both the front and rear cameras took approximately 30-45 minutes. However, it's worth noting that the wire for the rear camera is quite long, so proper management and securing may be necessary. One minor inconvenience I have encountered is the app control. To access features like live view, downloading, or sharing, a connection to their Wi-Fi is required while in the car. Moving away from the vehicle results in a loss of connection and subsequent inability to use these features. On a positive note, the video quality is remarkable, and the night vision performs well, complemented by a smooth frame rate. Additionally, the option to switch between the front camera only, the rear camera, or a combination of both provides versatility.
r/dashcams • Best Dashcam? ->whatever dashcam you get, make sure it doesnt rely on internal lithium batteries. Look for devices that have a supercapacitor in it. they are more durable and withstand high heat a LOT better. OR you can get one with no battery. only difference is it wont have parking mode. [I have this one, and it works great.](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B098WVKF19?ref=nb_sb_ss_w_as-reorder_k0_1_20&=&crid=R48NGR83WX9L&=&sprefix=dashcam+with+superca)
r/phoenix • Dash cam recommendations that hold up to the heat? ->Get a real dashcam, seriously. I have the Red Tiger F7NP and it's freakin sweet. Only cost me $80 on amazon, unfortunately it's not on sale anymore. 4k forward camera, 1080 rear camera. Quality is excellent. My wife has a Garmin Mini, it does its job but costs twice as much as mine and has half the features. GoPros already have heat problems, that thing is going to die on your dash. Also they dont all suck, I dont know where you're getting that. If you're going off youtube videos, remember that youtube compresses the hell out of videos. It's all going to look bad.
r/gopro • GoPro for a Dashcam? ->redtiger f7np, works great plenty of people on the r/dashcams subreddit recommend it for its price (roughly $200 to 250 with a rear dash cam as well!)
r/CarsAustralia • Best dashcams in Australia that cost less than $250? Or should I just get a BlackVue one for $1.5k? ->This camera is actually pretty good.
r/Crosstrek • Recommendations for Dashcam under $100 please ->My wife has one in her Impreza and I have a basic one in my Crosstrek which I wouldn’t recommend to you. I just use it because my mother got it as a birthday gift for me. But the one my wife uses is what I’d recommend to you. It has an app, it’s super clear when driving and there’s no problem with the quality when the videos are uploaded into the app. [https://a.co/d/004u4mq](https://a.co/d/004u4mq)
r/Crosstrek • Dashcam recommendations? ->I just got this Red Tiger F7NP. Works great. Front and rear cameras, 4k front 1080p rear, super easy to install. r/Dashcam • Best dashcam under 100€ ->I just installed a red tiger f7np with the hardwire kit into the fuse box. Easy installation and cheap at 130 bucks. Seems decent enough for me but I live in a small city.
r/hondaridgeline • Updated list of the best dash cams ->I have the Redtiger F7NP. Don't get one. Pay extra for a good interface and file management.
r/australia • Best dashcam available in AU that isn't super expensive ->I just did it this past weekend on my 2025 Crosstrek Limited. I put in a Redtiger F7N Pro front and rear camera. Mine doesn't have the auto dimming mirror and the plug was buried in the right side of the upper console. The plug was encased in a foam wrap. I took long needle nose pliers and got it out. It was the standard 5 pin Subaru plug. After that the hardest part was fishing the wire through the upper hatch for the rear camera. I watched a few videos so I knew what to expect. Took about 1.5 hours taking my time. Was about a 4 on a scale of 10 in difficulty. I got the adapter plug from Amazon.[5 pin Subaru Crosstrek 2025](https://a.co/d/fJYubV6)
r/Crosstrek • Dashcam on Crosstrek ->I run a duel channel Red Tiger cam i got off of Amazon. Woeks great. Really good night quality.
r/NoRulesCalgary • Dash cam recommendations ->Redtiger has been really good. Got one that is suction type so easy to use with rentals. 4k with night vision and includes a rear camera too. The app is a nice touch. Good quality, definitely recommend.
r/TorontoDriving • Recommendations for dash cams? ->Second the RedTiger, mine is 4k front and 1080 rear. Has it's own built in GPS and is low price.
r/ram_trucks • Dash cam suggestions? ->Have Redtiger 7N, may not be the best but cheap and it aready paid for itself when hit in parking lot and the other driver claimed I was at fault, dashcam proved they were at fault.
r/f150 • Dash Cam recommendations ->Well, not Redtiger F7. I bought it and I don't like it. It's an ok 2-channel dashcam, but could have been better...
r/ChevyTahoe • Best Dashcam for '25 Tahoe ->I have the Red Tiger F7N which is front and rear. The picture is great and mounting was easy. I bought a MicroSD adapter for my iPhone so I can access and download files immediately if I need them. I find that connecting via WiFi is slow on all the cameras that I have tried, mostly because of the interference of the WiFi from my cars. It was about $150 on Amazon, but I just looked and they are on sale for $109.99.
r/dashcams • Dash Cam Rec for My BF (birthday gift) ->my redtiger f7n 4k from amazon for 148 on sale has been doing well so far
r/CarsAustralia • What is everyone’s go to Dashcam in 2024 ->I have a redtiger dual cam. Worth the hardwiring process.
r/rav4club • For those who have Dash Cams in your RAV4 Hybrid ->I've got a new version of the red tiger front/rear dash cam setup with audio. It was 175. And the SD card it comes with it kind of crap/off brand. Needs upgraded. But the peace of mind. Worth it.
r/uberdrivers • Do you guys have dash cams? ->Oh yeah, I’ve got three with the front rear and inside cameras for my truck, my wife’s car, and my son’s. They’ve been running smoothly for two years now, and was obviously good to have after a recent fender bender. The camera quality is pretty great, and the app works flawlessly.
r/dashcams • DO NOT EVER BUY: Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2 ->I’d also highly recommend the redtiger rear and front dash cam on Amazon, on sale for 85$ I believe, the customer service is rlly good and they sent me free replacement adhesive cuz I fucked up the first one as well as a longer usb c cable and a hardwire kit when I decided to go in that direction. I downloaded the vids and they were both really clear and I can make out license plate easily. Not affiliated but just thought the product was good, I installed one in my dad’s car as well.
r/rav4club • Is the integrated dashcam worth it? ->I bought red tiger dash cam off of, you guessed it, Amazon. One for my car, my wife's and my stepdaughter. All of those have front and rear. I bought a red tiger front cam only for my jeep. No where to stick a rear camera on the soft top. The front and rear ones were around 130, the front only was 80. Have zero complaints
r/dashcams • Anyone have any thoughts on Walmart’s drive onn dual dash cam? ->In my truck I use a REDTIGER Dash Cam Front Rear from Amazon and just ordered the same for my wife’s CX5 this morning. I also got a “Dashcam Power Adapter 10 Pin (Model A) Custom for Mazda 6 CX3 CX5 CX5 CX9 CX30 CX50 MX30 and More,GPS Radar Mirror Camera,Connects to Auto Dimming Plug (Hidden in Sensor Shroud)” to use to power it
r/mazda • What budget+reliable Dashcams do you guys use? ->RedTiger front and rear. Hardwired for parking mode. Lots of vids in YouTube to help with cable routing and power sourcing . With all wires buried, mine looks OEM as well. Good luck.
r/HyundaiSantaFe • Looking for Dash cam recommendations- Santa Fe calligraphy hybrid. ->Red tiger 4k has been great so far big screen and sd cards + app
r/f150 • Dash Camera ->Last September I did lots of research to find a good dash cam and I settled on a Red Tiger 4K on Amazon. At the time I paid ~$177 AUD. It’s both front and rear. Good quality image. Easy to install and has an app for phone too. Haven’t had to use any footage for any reason but did downloaded a few and they seem to have come through well. https://amzn.asia/d/dPbPcje
r/australia • Best dashcam available in AU that isn't super expensive ->Low $100 should do the job. ROVE R2-4K Pro or REDTIGER 4K. I have both on different cars. Clear pics. On my ID4, I used Fuse #52. This is the rear trunk cigarette lighter power. Internet pic shows this #52 as one long Fuse, but it is not. It has two setup option, connect to the upper slot of #52, you will get power only when the car is On. I chose the upper slot setup. Lower slot of #52, then power is always On. YouTube has severals clips that show how to run and hide the cable. Be careful with the rectangular panel next to the door. You have to slide it to the side before pull out so you don't break it. One YouTube guy shows this briefly. It took 30-45 minutes to install front dashcam. I don't install the rear.
r/VWiD4Owners • Dash Cam Installation ->Personally I've been using the Redtiger 4K Dash Cam from Amazon. It's been great for me and actually useful when someone rear ended my truck earlier this year. It has a front and rear camera. I loaded it with a SanDisk 256 GB Extreme microSD and no issues. Suits my needs. I'm weird where I like to be able to see it visually recording. I had one previously that only connect via WIFI to my phone with no screen.
r/ram_trucks • Dash Cam Recommendations? ->Cheap front and rear / 24h hi-res model (4k advertised) - RedTiger priced like 85 on Amazon rn worked for years for me. Definitely a foreign company with not the greatest app but I’ve never had trouble pulling video. Lets you put music and filters on your recordings too 😭
r/FordBronco • Dash cam recommendations ->Got the RedTiger one in 2023. No major complaints. Video quality good, day and night. Get a polarising lens if you want, I didn't notice too much difference. Minor complaints: 1. The front cam can sometimes fall off if it's too hot outside 2. WiFi file transfer is way too slow. You can watch clips on your phone, but you probably won't have the patience to download 2 or 3 Also as others pointed out, unless you can figure it out yourself, it's about another $150-200 to hard wire it.
r/CarsAustralia • DASHCAM ON BUDGET ->I'm pro dashcam. I have a redtiger brand one that's a good mix between price and quality of video. It's a good way to cover your butt if something happens or if you catch something happening to someone else
r/TwoXPreppers • thoughts on dashcams? ->I’m using a Redtiger dashcam connected to the 12V socket, but since the socket is always powered, I have to unplug it every time I leave the car. Is there a way around this?
r/CarsIndia • Thoughts on this dashcam offered for Taigun by VW showroom in Pune? ->I got a red tiger and it’s fine. It’s not just dash cams though, building CCTV will do a lot more for you than just a dashcam if you park in the same place all the time and establish patterns in how and where you park. I could prove to the day when and how I was hit with a building cam, dashcam didn’t have footage back far enough.
r/GR86 • What dash cam yall recommend? I’m getting tired of these people parking bad..especially truck drivers… ->I bought the red tiger dash game because of this review. https://youtu.be/uLjGazIxjEA
r/Insurance • Those in the auto insurance industry: what dash cam do you recommend? ->In my experience red tiger was a cheap, garbage waste of money. The screen burned out within a year and wasn’t sure if it was still recording.
r/porsche911 • Has anyone tried the fitcamx dash cam? ->I just bought a RedTiger and I like it.
r/dashcams • best amazon dashcam brand ->About a week, so it is not time tested. It's also my first dashcam. But the install was easy and it seems user friendly enough.
r/dashcams • best amazon dashcam brand ->I use red tiger dash cam had accident head to head 55mph video was clear and helpful lol and CS is pretty good
r/rav4club • What dashcam should I get? ->Screw that. Get a Red Tiger from amazon. I have several. Works perfect…front and rear cams.
r/porsche911 • Has anyone tried the fitcamx dash cam? ->They are in fact relatively cheap, but they are no way garbage. I run them in everything. Front and rear cams. And I keep a spare around just in case. The only one that failed on me was in my side by side UTV and it shit the bed only after being hit with the pressure washer for like the 20th time. I would never have even thought about using a dash cam until I worked in South Korea. Basically in South Korea, if you can’t show the police who caused the accident, then it’s a “no fault” accident. Also, the old dash cam is pretty handy if a cop pulls you over. Kind of a nice feeling when the cop realizes that anything he or she says may be used against them in a court of law.
r/porsche911 • Has anyone tried the fitcamx dash cam? ->Yes I also have the red tiger, love it.
r/Charger • Best dash cam? ->Seconding Redtiger, mine has held up for a few years even being in the Texas heat.
r/COROLLA • My first toyota car (2017) 🙏 ->I have a red tiger dash cam that has multiple camera views. I've used it for years and live in South GA where it's always really hot. Never had an issue with the sticky messing up or the screen. The video is always crystal clear and it's easy to download the files straight to my phone
r/Lyft • Let's Talk about Dash Cams... ->I did as well, weirdly reliable and decent quality footage for such a budget cam
r/Audi • Dash Cam Recommendations for 24’ SQ8 ->I have red tiger in my mdx. Got it on prime day like a year ago around $110. Self installed. So far so good. No issues with it. Good video quality. Just get a bigger micro sd card for it and it holds up nicely.
r/Acura • Dash cam recommendations ->I was using it on my 2020 outback. Only issue I’ve had is the suction kinda sucked so I’m switching to an adhesive type of mount.
r/subaru • Best Dashcams? ->Red tiger is what I’m using and it’s close to the VIOFO in quality but half the price. There are some great YouTube videos comparing many models
r/crv • Dash cam recommendations? ->I have two different red tiger models in different cars. They both work fine.
r/dashcams • Which Dash Cam Has Worked For You? ->I have a Redtiger dashcam for 2016 Corolla, and it's working fine
r/COROLLA • My first toyota car (2017) 🙏 ->Congratulations on the new ride. Get a red tiger, get the wiring kit. Mount it center windshield at the bottom of the rear view mirror cowling.
r/gmcsierra • Front and rear dash cam? ->My wife got us two " red tiger" ones from Amazon. They were easy to install, easy to use and easy to retrieve video from.
r/HyundaiTucson • Any dash cam recommendations for 2025 Tuscon? ->Same here, it has been great.
r/LinusTechTips • Project Farm agrees, VIOFO A119 V3 is the best dash cam ->Red Tiger and it SUCKS SO BAD!!! 0 ⭐️👎👎👎👎👎👎👎 I’m in the same boat as OP except I’d hate to have to run the wires again.
r/wrx_vb • What Dash Cam do you have? ->We use the Red Tiger for our fleet of trucks at work. It’s the best bang for your buck cam out there. Works perfect. No problems in 15+ trucks.
r/dashcams • Dash Cam Rec for My BF (birthday gift) ->The app is ok, I did find my phone switching from the cam’s WiFi back to my trucks and losing connection. It’s honestly easier to just pull the SD card and put in your computer and pull the footage. It records in 5 minute clips with no loss in between clips. We put 256gb cards in ours and they record 3-4 days worth before it writes over the older footage.
r/dashcams • Dash Cam Rec for My BF (birthday gift) ->Yeah, since it’s 4k video it takes up a bunch of space. If you get in wreck, pull the card immediately. Otherwise just let it keep recording over itself.
r/dashcams • Dash Cam Rec for My BF (birthday gift) ->I have the red tiger brand one he reviewed. I'm happy with it.
r/LinusTechTips • Project Farm agrees, VIOFO A119 V3 is the best dash cam ->Red Tiger from Amazon. Installed it on the missus' car and so far so good after 9 months.
r/CarsAustralia • what’s a really good dashcam i could get for the money? ->I got mine from red tiger since I also got one of their cam as well. We will see how it do lol
r/ToyotaTacoma • Installing front and rear dash cam (with 24/7 recording) ->I've had the red tiger on my new '25 Sport for 2 months now (front and back) plugged into the 12V slot.
r/civic • Best Dash Cam ->I had a Red Tiger in one of my cars. The WIFI would not connect. Sent it back. Went with the VIOFO A229. Very happy with it.
r/dashcams • best amazon dashcam brand ->I had the Red Tiger in one of my cars and had problems with it and sent it back. Went went the A229 and couldn't be happier.
r/dashcams • Looking for a good dashcam ->I had a Red Tiger in one of my cars. The WIFI would not connect. Sent it back. Went with the VIOFO A229. Very happy with it.
r/dashcams • Help me choose a dash cam. ->I had a red tiger that was decent
r/Audi • Dash Cam Recommendations for 24’ SQ8 ->I bought a cheap red tiger from Amazon and it works amazing. I'm surprised how well this thing works for cheap brand
r/GR86 • Dash cam recs? #gr86 #dashcam ->Skoda/vw cars don't need a hardwire kit. You can plugin any dashcam and it stays on 24/7 unless you plug out connector from 12V socket. I own a kushaq and use redtiger dashcam and I only plug out the dashcam whenever I don't need to use the car for more than 2 days.
r/CarsIndia • Suggest me a dash cam which can stay 24/7 ->This is common for all dash cam apps. Red tiger has the same issue. You can be connected to one WiFi connection at a time and since CarPlay connects Bluetooth and WiFi, if you connect to the camera, you disconnect from CarPlay. Then the Bluetooth kicks you back onto CarPlay again, booting you out of the camera. Basically you can only access the camera data by disabling Bluetooth and then disconnecting CarPlay to connect to the camera.
r/ram_trucks • Dash Cam Recommendations? ->I have a red tiger off Amazon, does front and back. Been a good budget option.
r/Challenger • Do you use a dash cam? Which one? ->I got red tiger when Amazon had a really good sale and honestly I love mine. I've recommended it to anyone around me that's thinking about getting one
r/dashcams • What is the best dashcam in your opinion? ->I definitely do! I've still had zero problems after 3 or 4 months. It's a bit of a pain to put up but I think that's just dashcams in general lol
r/dashcams • What is the best dashcam in your opinion? ->REDTIGER dashcam cause you can do everything on your phone with it
r/Challenger • Dash Cam Suggestions ->Any of them. I’ve got a cheapo red tiger off Amazon. Used it for years.
r/Austin • Learn me on your Austin dashcams. What holds up here? ->We have a REDTIGER as well. We were able to locate a hit and run driver because of it. After that I bought another one for our other car. A camera is better than no camera
r/Insurance • Those in the auto insurance industry: what dash cam do you recommend? ->Looks very similar to RedTiger. Is it a dual dashcam or just the front one? Get dual dashcams. Front + rear. Sony Starvis sensor is better for night time clarity. Having GPS is a plus. Unless you want parking monitoring, hardwiring is unnecessary. If you have always on 12A socket then even that is unnecessary. You can easily install it yourself or get any accessories shop to install it for you and attach it to USB/12A socket.
