Amazon. It was like 60 bucks and so very easy to hide the wiring. It took about an hour to set up and front and rear camera.
r/nova • Buy a dashcam ->REDTIGER Dash Cam Front Rear,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B098WVKF19?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
r/nova • Buy a dashcam ->Sorry. Didn't realize it was over a 100 now. I think it was a prime day purchase. Regardless I bought after reading many of the reviews. It works as advertised.
r/nova • Buy a dashcam ->Eh, I wouldn't call the output "great". I'm pretty underwhelmed with mine, but the install does look nice.
r/Volvo • I highly recommend the FITCAMX for anyone looking for a dashcam. Very easy installation that looks 100% OEM. Great 4K video quality too. ->For the price we paid, I feel like it should be better. Or at least have some similar features of other cams, like a button to save/lock the current clip and have the option for GPS data.
r/Volvo • I highly recommend the FITCAMX for anyone looking for a dashcam. Very easy installation that looks 100% OEM. Great 4K video quality too. ->There aren't any that I know of which is why I paid the fitcam tax. I had thought about trying to use the housing to fit another camera (many of these cameras have the same internals) or maybe find someone that can design one that I could 3D print, but I went the easy route, instead. I did opt for the front 4k/rear 1080p version, so I did have to run the wire for the rear cam which is a hassle. It really wouldn't be much more of a hassle to run a hardwire kit from the fuse panel under the glove box, up the A-pillar and out the mirror cover in hindsight.
r/Volvo • I highly recommend the FITCAMX for anyone looking for a dashcam. Very easy installation that looks 100% OEM. Great 4K video quality too. ->Came here and ended up getting Redtiger F7NP, so far it's great. Nice quality, and the app actually works (unlike Nextbase!)
r/dashcams • Budget Dashcams that keep coming up on Reddit ->The videos are 3840x2160 (front dashcam not rear) and the quality looks fantastic. I've been really impressed by this dashcam.
r/dashcams • Budget Dashcams that keep coming up on Reddit ->I've been really impressed with it, for a budget cam it looks great
r/dashcams • Budget Dashcams that keep coming up on Reddit ->[REDTIGER](https://www.redtigercam.com/products/redtiger-f7np-4k-dash-cam) comes with the hardwiring kit for parking mode. I would recommend adding the 3M mount. I’ve had mine for ~2 years now with zero issues. Just picked up another for my partners car.
r/wrx_vb • What Dash Cam do you have? ->i use a Redtiger f7np dual channel and it is nice :)
r/CarsIndia • Suggest Dashcam for Virtus ->It should have a setting to write over itself. I have a REDTIGER 4k that I got for $150usd. It’s been great. I have it set to record 24/7. Has front and rear cameras
r/dashcams • Cheap but good dash cam options? ->I’ve had the red tiger for over 2 years now.
r/dashcams • Dashcam Recommendations on Reddit ->This camera is actually pretty good.
r/Crosstrek • Recommendations for Dashcam under $100 please ->I have this Redtiger on my OB. Front and rear cams. I ran the wire for the rear through the hatch rubber grommet, then inside the trim all the way down to the dash. I also bought the hardwire kit to connect to the fuse box, though I could have put something together myself for the same result. [https://a.co/d/b2qnrw8](https://a.co/d/b2qnrw8)
r/Subaru_Outback • Dash cam recommendations? ->I have a Red Tiger front and rear cam set. I ran the rear cable through the bellows in the hatch and all through the upper door trim, and the front cam cable just above the windshield into the headliner, then hardwired everything to the fuse box. Works great.
r/Subaru_Outback • DASH CAMS - SEAKING RECOMMENDATIONS ->There are 2 main pointers these days to keep in my mind before finalising a dashcam - capacitor instead of Li-ion battery and SONY STARVIS- 2 SENSOR for night vision. I preferred REDTIGER as it had capacitor battery and good night vision compared to other brands like 70mai, DDPAI or qubo even though they are the most brought dashcams in Indian market. https://in.redtigercam.com/products/redtiger-f7np-4k-dash-cam
r/CarsIndia • What is the best dash cam?(looking for both front and rear) ->Hey there, I got the REDTIGER F7NP installed last week in my car. Care to explain ‘inside rear window’ ? Isn’t it how all rear dashcams are installed ?
r/CarsIndia • What is the best dash cam?(looking for both front and rear) ->I also recommend the Red Tiger F7NP front/rear dash cam. I've had mine since April and I am **very satisfied** with it. I also purchased a dongar to power the cam from the rearview mirror power connection (*2017 Honda Ridgeline*). I don't use the WiFi function on my phone; it seems to be very slow trying to view or transfer event videos to the phone. I use the PC/Laptop app to view/save pertinent videos. With it; you can see both front and rear views simultaneously on the same screen.
r/dashcams • What is the best dashcam in your opinion? ->I’ve been using the RedTiger 4K dash cam (Model F7NP) for the past year. Comes with front and rear cams with app access and a microSD slot. I think it’s great. Quality is great during the day, can be a bit tough to read plates at night with lights shining, but most dash cams have that issue AFAIK. It was about $100 on Amazon. I highly recommend getting a dash cam sooner rather than later.
r/Camry • What brand Dashcam should I buy ->Yes so if you are on the road and want to access videos, there’s a free app and the camera can output a wifi signal. You put your phone in airplane mode, then turn on your phone wifi, and then connect to the devices wifi with the given password, you can stream and download the files to the app on your phone. It’s really easy. I do find it easier to load videos with airplane mode on along with wifi on since your cellular data can slow down the connection. I’ve had no issue accessing files while out and about.
r/Camry • What brand Dashcam should I buy ->I don’t have the sentry mode setup, so mine doesn’t record detected motion/impacts while the car is off (I need to look into setting that up). But when my car is turned on it does record everything constantly, even in park. So if my car is on while I’m in my driveway working on it or cleaning it, I’ll just temporarily unplug the camera so it doesn’t record. Honestly, the way I look at it, most times I’ll just let the camera roll and if something happens I’ll just grab the footage then. I know for sure I have a lot of garbage footage stored on mine too lol.
r/Camry • What brand Dashcam should I buy ->I bought [this ](https://a.co/d/50ncbOr) one from Amazon. The hardwire kit adds a little more, but it adds parking protection. It was simple to install in my 2020. Just be sure to get a high endurance SD card or expect to replace it every 6-12 months depending on how often it rewrites on the card.
r/SubaruForester • Just get the dash cam ->Exactly what he said, only problem is wirelessly connecting to your phone via wifi. I have the F7NP model. It’s kind of a goofy system to transfer files, I just use the SD card provided and extract files with my PC. They claim to be 4K resolution in the front and 1080p in the rear, but I think they both look like 1080p. Still really clear though. Provided clear, valuable evidence numerous times. Functions for everyday use, I’ve had it for 3 years. The only issue I ran into was the SD card fill up and having to manually clear it in the first 6 months. Somehow the card started overwriting itself, honestly don’t know what happened but I’m not complaining. Overall, for the price, it’s worth it.
r/Dashcam • Any Opinions on Redtiger Dash Cams? I'd Like the Good, Bad & Ugly ->I have the Redtiger F7NP 4K Front Rear Dash Cam, however I'm using the just the front. The rear mounted outside is difficult to keep clean, and inside mounting leaves a lot to be desired.
r/askcarguys • Dashcam recommendations? ->Most of the advertisements give unrealistic results, the micro cards do not come with the units, and you're better off with a large card. Keeping it active while parked could run down your car battery so be aware of this.
r/askcarguys • Dashcam recommendations? ->whatever dashcam you get, make sure it doesnt rely on internal lithium batteries. Look for devices that have a supercapacitor in it. they are more durable and withstand high heat a LOT better. OR you can get one with no battery. only difference is it wont have parking mode. [I have this one, and it works great.](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B098WVKF19?ref=nb_sb_ss_w_as-reorder_k0_1_20&=&crid=R48NGR83WX9L&=&sprefix=dashcam+with+superca)
r/phoenix • Dash cam recommendations that hold up to the heat? ->I've been using these for years. REDTIGER Dash Cam Front Rear,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B098WVKF19?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Have two that are 3 years old and one new one for an additional vehicle we got this year. Work great!
r/phoenix • Can anyone recommend a dash cam that will function in Phoenix heat? ->Thirded. It's great in the heat.
r/phoenix • Can anyone recommend a dash cam that will function in Phoenix heat? ->I’ve posted this one a few times. I have had it in my 2015 and 2024 Outback and it’s worked great. It’s also amazing for the price. [REDTIGER Dash Cam Front&Rear](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B098WVKF19?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share)
r/Subaru_Outback • Recommendation on Dash cams 2025 outback ->I just installed a red tiger f7np with the hardwire kit into the fuse box. Easy installation and cheap at 130 bucks. Seems decent enough for me but I live in a small city.
r/hondaridgeline • Updated list of the best dash cams ->[Redtiger F7NP 4K Front and Rear Dash Cam](https://www.redtigercam.com/products/f7np-4k-front-and-rear-dash-cam) Depending on the bundle you can also get the wiring for parking mode. It’s easy to install and doesn’t obstruct view. I would recommend purchasing a higher capacity and endurance rated SIM card.
r/civic • Anyone have any good dashcam recommendations? ->I have RedTiger F7NP cameras in all 3 of my Subarus. They mount perfectly next to the mirror attach point. Does not block the Eyesight and is hidden by my rear view mirror. Some states have specific laws regarding attaching things to your windshield and having something obstructing your view. Keep that in mind. https://photos.app.goo.gl/7WmwVKCVun8C5wL16
r/Crosstrek • Any dash camera recommendations for 2024 Crosstrek that doesn’t block eye sight? ->RedTiger F7NP from Amazon and look for the "used" option. I have bought three of these as "used" and they are actually new, but packaging is damaged. Typically about $100. This includes a front and rear camera. I have them in all of my Subarus.
r/Crosstrek • Recommendations for Dashcam under $100 please ->I bought the Redtiger F7NP from Amazon for $130. It has a 4k forward-looking camera mounted to the windshield by suction cup and a 1080p rear-facing camera mounted to the rear window by adhesive film. The wires are tucked into the headliner for both front and rear cameras. The front camera plugs into the power port in the lower dash, and the rear camera plugs into the front camera. It came with a dinky 32Gb micro-SD card that plugs into the front camera, but supports up to 128Gb cards. 1080p is good resolution for clarity on reading license plates and stuff. 4k is even better, but the file size of the video will be significantly larger so you won't be able to save as many videos onto the micro-SD card. My camera is set to loop record 3- minute videos, so older videos that I don't lock will be recorded over. The camera has its own wifi that you connect to with your phone and you can download videos from the camera while using the Redtiger app. You have the option of using the parking G-sensor on the camera, but you have to hardwire the front camera. You'd do that by using a different power cable that will wrap around the accessory power fuse in the interior fusebox. That power cable is a separate purchase.
r/hondafit • Has anyone had luck finding a good dashcam for the Fit? ->Happy to help! When in doubt, YouTube has a plethora of review and installation videos. The little plastic trim removal tool that came with my camera helps a lot with prying back the headliner and door/window trim to tuck the wires away. Good luck!
r/hondafit • Has anyone had luck finding a good dashcam for the Fit? ->As an insurance agent, I think EVERYONE should have a dashcam. Preferably one with front and rear facing cameras. There are some great 4k cameras out there with Bluetooth capabilities. Viofo has some great cameras that get amazing reviews, but they are expensive. For more budget conscious individuals REDTIGER F7NP is a great option as well that has wireless, but it’s not Bluetooth. We have them installed on all of our vehicles.
r/asksandiego • How many people here thought about a dash camera installation in their vehicle? ->I bought this one for my GR. Real small and doesn't get in the way of sight https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C6YBHKJ5?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Most require a hardware kit for parking mode
r/GR86 • Best dashcam with parking mode(front and rear)? ->I am definitely no expert, but I have [this one](https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B098WVKF19?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title) and I can't complain. There are almost certainly better ones out there though, I'm just a casual amazon buyer.
r/Austin • Acquaintance unalived in road rage incident ->i think more importantly than quality, you want more FPS. The more frames per second, the smoother the video will be and more chance to catch the plate. Thats why i went with the Redtiger, but i think those others can capture at higher FPS as well... as long as you drop the resolution down
r/dashcams • Budget Dashcams that keep coming up on Reddit ->I have the Rove 2k - 4k and I bought a Redtiger dash cam front with rear on my moms Accord and both dash cams are great! I bought an upgraded SD card (both are using 256 gb) both dashcams can record up to 4k. I had a NEXAR dashcam before going to Rove and had that NEXAR for a year and a half and it randomly just stopped working on me.
r/accord • Best car camera options ->If you want the front with rear cameras I would go with the Redtiger. if you just want the front then go with Rove 2k -4k. Rove is also cheaper (80 bucks) and I think it’s a great investment. Redtiger is currently 130 on Amazon (originally 200). I can’t speak yet on the Redtiger since I just recently got it but since I had the ROVE for almost a year now, I love the camera.
r/accord • Best car camera options ->It’s the Redtiger F7NP. You’ll see one for 139 and one for 129. I think the 139 is the same as 129 one with minor update. Either one has a coupon you can use
r/accord • Best car camera options ->I bought the redtiger last year and its broken now. It keeps shutting off after a few seconds and when i get it to stay on once in a while it says that i need to put in a memory card even though i put in a new one. It wont let me reformat through the camera either.
r/dashcams • Best Dashcam? ->I've been looking to buy one for myself as well, and here are a few I've found so far that you may or may not like, but I wanted to throw these out there: REDTIGER F7NP (front and rear) - Currently on a Black Friday deal on Amazon (was going for $200, and with a coupon, you're looking at a little over $100) Rove R2 (front and rear) - Black Friday again (was going for $200, now with a coupon about $120) VIOFO A119 Mini (front) - $86 Black Friday (was $130 before) GMAIPOP G900 (front and rear) - $60 on a Black Friday deal (was $80) ARIFAYZ Q4 (front and rear) - $60 on a Black Friday deal (was $100) WALMART: ODREY Dashcam - (front and rear) - $60 on a Black Friday deal (was $160) AUOSHI - (front and rear) - $77 now (was $370... could be an exaggeration) I feel like they all do the job of loop recording, accident "lock" footage, GPS, quick access to download and upload your footage, night vision, etc. I'm still doing my research because it's hard to pick when you have so many choices, and even cheaper ones have the same options as the ones that are $200. 😅
r/dashcams • Best Dashcam? ->UPDATE: After careful consideration, I have chosen the REDTIGER F7NP. It offers an 18-month warranty, ensuring peace of mind in case of any issues. Positive feedback regarding their customer service further influenced my decision. The installation process for both the front and rear cameras took approximately 30-45 minutes. However, it's worth noting that the wire for the rear camera is quite long, so proper management and securing may be necessary. One minor inconvenience I have encountered is the app control. To access features like live view, downloading, or sharing, a connection to their Wi-Fi is required while in the car. Moving away from the vehicle results in a loss of connection and subsequent inability to use these features. On a positive note, the video quality is remarkable, and the night vision performs well, complemented by a smooth frame rate. Additionally, the option to switch between the front camera only, the rear camera, or a combination of both provides versatility.
r/dashcams • Best Dashcam? ->[red tiger](http://REDTIGER Dash Cam Front Rear,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B098WVKF19?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) This is the one i have in my ram, front and back . No jssues
r/ram_trucks • Dash cam suggestions? ->https://www.amazon.com/dp/B098WVKF19?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
r/ram_trucks • Dash cam suggestions? ->I went with Redtiger F7N and skipped 70Mai. I needed an external rear powerful camera cause 70Mai goes inside the rear window and doesn't provide clear view in rains. Using it for 2 years and the customer support is fabulous too.
r/CarsIndia • What is the best dash cam?(looking for both front and rear) ->I second this. I’ve had two red tigers over the years and the features and video quality are great. You can get one with a rear camera as well as have it hard wired into the car so you don’t have cords all over the place. Connects with WiFi and and app.
r/dashcams • What is the best dashcam in your opinion? ->I do. I just noticed the one I have even shows my MPH on the recordings, which it a cool feature. The one I have is on sale right now on Amazon, I’m on mobile and I don’t know how to add links but pop this in amazons search and it’ll come right up. REDTIGER Dash Cam Front Rear, 4K/2.5K Full HD Dash Camera for Cars, Included 32GB Card, Built-in Wi-Fi GPS, 3.16” IPS Screen, Night Vision, 170°Wide Angle, WDR, 24H Parking Mode(F7NP)
r/dashcams • What is the best dashcam in your opinion? ->There are a ton of them; I have a "red tiger" from China; used it for years with no problem..
r/NoStupidQuestions • Do you think it’s important to have a dash cam in your car? ->I have a red tiger off Amazon, does front and back. Been a good budget option.
r/Challenger • Do you use a dash cam? Which one? ->Any of them. I’ve got a cheapo red tiger off Amazon. Used it for years.
r/Austin • Learn me on your Austin dashcams. What holds up here? ->Screw that. Get a Red Tiger from amazon. I have several. Works perfect…front and rear cams.
r/porsche911 • Has anyone tried the fitcamx dash cam? ->They are in fact relatively cheap, but they are no way garbage. I run them in everything. Front and rear cams. And I keep a spare around just in case. The only one that failed on me was in my side by side UTV and it shit the bed only after being hit with the pressure washer for like the 20th time. I would never have even thought about using a dash cam until I worked in South Korea. Basically in South Korea, if you can’t show the police who caused the accident, then it’s a “no fault” accident. Also, the old dash cam is pretty handy if a cop pulls you over. Kind of a nice feeling when the cop realizes that anything he or she says may be used against them in a court of law.
r/porsche911 • Has anyone tried the fitcamx dash cam? ->Low $100 should do the job. ROVE R2-4K Pro or REDTIGER 4K. I have both on different cars. Clear pics. On my ID4, I used Fuse #52. This is the rear trunk cigarette lighter power. Internet pic shows this #52 as one long Fuse, but it is not. It has two setup option, connect to the upper slot of #52, you will get power only when the car is On. I chose the upper slot setup. Lower slot of #52, then power is always On. YouTube has severals clips that show how to run and hide the cable. Be careful with the rectangular panel next to the door. You have to slide it to the side before pull out so you don't break it. One YouTube guy shows this briefly. It took 30-45 minutes to install front dashcam. I don't install the rear.
r/VWiD4Owners • Dash Cam Installation ->I just bought the F7N touch, gonna install it today
r/Lexus • Aftermarket Dash Cam ->I have a redtiger dual cam. Worth the hardwiring process.
r/rav4club • For those who have Dash Cams in your RAV4 Hybrid ->I got mine from red tiger since I also got one of their cam as well. We will see how it do lol
r/ToyotaTacoma • Installing front and rear dash cam (with 24/7 recording) ->Same here, it has been great.
r/LinusTechTips • Project Farm agrees, VIOFO A119 V3 is the best dash cam ->I use red tigers F7N dash cam. It has never malfunctioned on me in the two ish years I’ve had it and seems to handle the heat well
r/phoenix • Can anyone recommend a dash cam that will function in Phoenix heat? ->Second the RedTiger, mine is 4k front and 1080 rear. Has it's own built in GPS and is low price.
r/ram_trucks • Dash cam suggestions? ->REDTIGER F7N is 2 summers in and working great still.
r/phoenix • Dashcams that can handle the heat? ->I have a red tiger dash cam and absolutely love it! I mounted it between the rear view mirror and windshield on the passenger side and it’s not in view at all. Tucked the wire in the lining of the ceiling, down through the door then under the floor mat and into the center console for power. The wire is 99% hidden this way. SD card for storage, use an app and its own wifi to retrieve videos. Audio and visual quality are great and I love having the peace of mind of being able to prove what happened if needed
r/chevycolorado • Dash Cam yes or no ->I have this one. It actually had clear enough video on the front to catch the plate of the driver who caused me to get in an accident a couple weeks ago. I ran the cable for the rear camera along the front door trim, behind the back seat and thru one of the holes to get to the underside of the bed. Only wish it had an interior camera as well since my truck go rifled thru 7 months ago but over all I love this dash cam
r/FordMaverickTruck • Dash cam ->Went with the Redtiger F7N on Amazon. They do have a version that offers the rear cam too! Found it on a bit of a sale and swooped given I only got my vehicle a few weeks back. The resolution is good not great, but an improvement over my previous dash cam. Biggest thing I was looking for in this dash cam purchase (other than a slight improvement in resolution) was a suction cup mount. So it was between the Redtiger and the Rove R2 4k Pro. I have it mounted central on the windshield and honestly just have the wire dangling down to connect to the glove box 12v - I don't mind at all and does not obstruct the passenger at all. It's maybe ~12in of wire hanging down. Sorry can't offer much advice on how the process of going through the headliner will be for the rest cam.
r/Subaru_Outback • Recommendation on Dash cams 2025 outback ->How long have you seen the parking mode run on that model? e.g. Clearly overnight, but what about over the weekend if you didn't need to take the car out? I have the RedTiger F7N, and the parking mode only allows itself to run 24 hours, in addition to the hard-wire harness having voltage protection which will cut off if the battery drops too low. Both aspects seem really keen that "we can't remain in parking mode indefinitely without draining the battery", and I was wondering about anyone else's experience with parking mode on other cameras, and what kind of runtimes have been observed.
r/dashcams • What is the best dash cam to buy if money isn’t an issue ? ->I recently wired my dash cam to my 2003 Corolla I used the ChrisFix How to video on Hardwiring a dash cam. I highly recommend it, and my camera works flawlessly. Make sure you have a multimeter! camera is a F7NP.
r/COROLLA • Do you install yourself a dash cam or went to a dealership or any other professional to do it? ->I have a Red Tiger F7N which is a slightly different model. I think the difference might only be in the rear camera but I'm not 100% sure. I have my all-weather rear camera mounted outside, above my license plate, which I much prefer, but I realize it's harder than having an inside camera. When I used it only as a plug-in/turn on camera it worked perfectly. I would totally recommend it. With the hardwire kit for parking mode, things are a little dicier. The hardwire kit I have doesn't have a voltage adjustment so it does sometimes drain my battery enough so my car won't start. I don't necessarily drive my car every day. I have a portable jump starter thing I use on my car that works absolutely perfectly and I'm never stranded or anything but it is not an ideal situation. I'm still considering my options. I used the camera without the hardwire kit for a year or year and a half, I can't remember, before I installed the hardware kit. I believe they said that the voltage cut off is set at 11.8V and I think all my problems would be solved if I could boost it up a little higher.
r/Dashcam • [deleted by user] ->My wife got us two " red tiger" ones from Amazon. They were easy to install, easy to use and easy to retrieve video from.
r/HyundaiTucson • Any dash cam recommendations for 2025 Tuscon? ->Well, not Redtiger F7. I bought it and I don't like it. It's an ok 2-channel dashcam, but could have been better...
r/ChevyTahoe • Best Dashcam for '25 Tahoe ->I have a reducer f7n interior and exterior shot. Great picture quality and sound is good too as long as it isn’t super loud. GPS enabled, WiFi enabled 75-95 refurbished 125 brand new. Edit on eBay
r/lyftdrivers • Best cheap dashcam? ->Yes I also have the red tiger, love it.
r/Charger • Best dash cam? ->I have the newer version of this and so far so good! Mine also does better now that it is hardwired vs the plug in power source
r/phoenix • Dash cam recommendations that hold up to the heat? ->I have red tiger in my mdx. Got it on prime day like a year ago around $110. Self installed. So far so good. No issues with it. Good video quality. Just get a bigger micro sd card for it and it holds up nicely.
r/Acura • Dash cam recommendations ->Yes. I've had one for well over a decade now because if you were to get into an accident, it's a whole lot of finger pointing and people lie to avoid tickets or getting a larger insurance bill. A dash cam can save a lot of frustration because you have indisputable video evidence that you can provide law enforcement and insurance companies. I will say never buy a cheap one. Always make the investment. I have a Redtiger F7N. It has GPS, a rear camera, and it's typically around $100 with a coupon on Amazon.
r/UberEATS • Do you use a dashcam? ->Red Tiger dash cam hardwired in my TLX. Good quality footage but I’m sure there are way better options out there!
r/Acura • Dash cam recommendations ->I have the F7N, it's a great cam and I made sure to get the hardwire kit for the parking mode.
r/Camry • What brand Dashcam should I buy ->I have the red tiger brand one he reviewed. I'm happy with it.
r/LinusTechTips • Project Farm agrees, VIOFO A119 V3 is the best dash cam ->I’ve had a REDTIGER f7n for a couple years in my car at this point. Still works fine after the summers it went through.
r/phoenix • Can anyone recommend a dash cam that will function in Phoenix heat? ->I fourthth the RedTiger. At least it is starting cool off here (anything under 100 I consider cool 😎)
r/phoenix • Can anyone recommend a dash cam that will function in Phoenix heat? ->Redtiger F7N. Not sure if still on sale at Amazon. Great video night and day! I’ve very pleased with this dashcam!
r/dashcams • Looking for The Best Dash Cam – Recommendations? ->In my experience red tiger was a cheap, garbage waste of money. The screen burned out within a year and wasn’t sure if it was still recording.
r/porsche911 • Has anyone tried the fitcamx dash cam? ->I have Redtiger front and rear. Not cheap but not super expensive. Has a 4k front camera and GPS tracking. Easy to use app. Though I paid Halfords to install it as I didn't feel confident enough to run cables around side pillar air bag's
r/drivingUK • Dash Cam recommendations ->I got a red tiger 4k on Amazon when it was on sale and it’s been fine.
r/nissanfrontier • Dash cam recommendations ->I bought a Redtiger F7N over a year ago. I finally got it installed this past week in my new 2025 ST. So far I’m impressed with it. The installer put the camera inside instead of near the bumper. I actually think that is better now. The only complaint is to use the app on your phone, you need to connect with WiFi and turn the CarPlay off on your phone or otherwise it keeps getting disconnected.
r/crv • Fitcamx dashcam users - how do you like it? ->This is common for all dash cam apps. Red tiger has the same issue. You can be connected to one WiFi connection at a time and since CarPlay connects Bluetooth and WiFi, if you connect to the camera, you disconnect from CarPlay. Then the Bluetooth kicks you back onto CarPlay again, booting you out of the camera. Basically you can only access the camera data by disabling Bluetooth and then disconnecting CarPlay to connect to the camera.
r/ram_trucks • Dash Cam Recommendations? ->Have had my red tiger 4k for 3 years and still going strong, with the same sd card.
r/Dashcam • Why does literally every dash cam have negative reviews which state the camera fails after several weeks or months? ->I have the Viofo A229 Pro 4k (too big), the Red Tiger 4k (it died 5 months in), the Vantrue N3 (died after 10 months), and I bought a Street Guardian - very similar to the Viofo. It lasted the longest but it's too big for the windshield. Most of the above beep or talk way too much (RedTiger model chatters way too much), not to mention two of them died within a year. All were hard-wired. I'm going to try the Garmin because I don't want a screen but I've heard the resolution isn't great compared to some others. It shouldn't be this hard to find a dashcam with no screen, high resolution (front and rear) and a product that lasts longer than 10 months.
r/dashcams • I analyzed the 25 most recommended dashcams on Reddit ->Red tiger dash cam is amazing and cheap
r/crv • Dashcam and weather mats recommendation for 2025 crv ->I've had the red tiger on my new '25 Sport for 2 months now (front and back) plugged into the 12V slot.
r/civic • Best Dash Cam ->Red Tiger and it SUCKS SO BAD!!! 0 ⭐️👎👎👎👎👎👎👎 I’m in the same boat as OP except I’d hate to have to run the wires again.
r/wrx_vb • What Dash Cam do you have? ->Why to wait until first service ? I got mine(redtiger 4k+1080p) installed on the day of delivery from dealership accessory guy.
r/CarsIndia • Suggest Dashcam for Virtus ->We have Red Tiger and Rove (in different cars) and we really like both.
r/civic • Dash cam ->I just got installed a Red Tiger a month or so ago and I love it.
r/civic • Dash cam ->Red tiger 4k has been great so far big screen and sd cards + app
r/f150 • Dash Camera ->I used to have a Blackvue in a previous vehicle and it was a perfectly fine dash cam, bought one for a friend to put in his F-150 and he likes it too. I got rid of it when I started doing more low light driving because it was hard to read the plates without sunlight. I have a REDTIGER F7N now and that one captures beautifully at night, I ordered it from Amazon for $130 or $140 and it comes with a front and rear camera. I’d purchase the hard wire kit too so you don’t have to look at the power wire plugged into your cigarette lighter.
r/f150 • Dash Camera ->I got red tiger when Amazon had a really good sale and honestly I love mine. I've recommended it to anyone around me that's thinking about getting one
r/dashcams • What is the best dashcam in your opinion? ->I definitely do! I've still had zero problems after 3 or 4 months. It's a bit of a pain to put up but I think that's just dashcams in general lol
r/dashcams • What is the best dashcam in your opinion? ->I bought red tiger dash cam off of, you guessed it, Amazon. One for my car, my wife's and my stepdaughter. All of those have front and rear. I bought a red tiger front cam only for my jeep. No where to stick a rear camera on the soft top. The front and rear ones were around 130, the front only was 80. Have zero complaints
r/dashcams • Anyone have any thoughts on Walmart’s drive onn dual dash cam? ->Just get a RedTiger F7N. They run about $140 and you can get a kit to have it record 24/7 if you want. Prolly save you a good chunk of change and it’s super easy to install
r/Camry • Toyota installed dash cam ->I have not had a single problem with mine but ive only had it about a month and a half in the west Texas heat and it’s still great. Videos are crisp and clear even through my dark tint. Records GPS data, speed, location and all that jazz and you can see it all through the app as well.
r/Camry • Toyota installed dash cam ->Personally I've been using the Redtiger 4K Dash Cam from Amazon. It's been great for me and actually useful when someone rear ended my truck earlier this year. It has a front and rear camera. I loaded it with a SanDisk 256 GB Extreme microSD and no issues. Suits my needs. I'm weird where I like to be able to see it visually recording. I had one previously that only connect via WIFI to my phone with no screen.
