I got Redtiger 3 camera dash cam. The price is quite reasonable and quality is okay. Haven’t hardwired it.
Hardwire if u park ur car in unsecured areas. My car is secured both at office and home so I had no need.
Oh yeah, I’ve got three with the front rear and inside cameras for my truck, my wife’s car, and my son’s. They’ve been running smoothly for two years now, and was obviously good to have after a recent fender bender. The camera quality is pretty great, and the app works flawlessly.
I have redtiger front and back very good quality and very affordable https://amzn.eu/d/4tmFfxP
I have redtiger front and rear dashcam..cannot fault it whatsoever for cheap too. £90 quid. Hardwire.kit only £20 too.
Got the RedTiger one in 2023. No major complaints. Video quality good, day and night. Get a polarising lens if you want, I didn't notice too much difference. Minor complaints: 1. The front cam can sometimes fall off if it's too hot outside 2. WiFi file transfer is way too slow. You can watch clips on your phone, but you probably won't have the patience to download 2 or 3 Also as others pointed out, unless you can figure it out yourself, it's about another $150-200 to hard wire it.
Red Tiger has worked for me
I thought the same thing with my Redtiger when I got into an accident, looked like the footage was right in between a loop like you described, all I had to do was plug the micro SD into a laptop and manually search through the files but I found the footage, even though it wasn’t showing it in the app!! Good luck
red tiger has been brilliant for me
My Red Tiger works great in both if my vehicles. The one in my overlanding rig sits in sun during summer and works well. I will cover it with my the sunshade but thst only to stop the direct sun light. I have had it in that truck for over 2 years without any issues. The other is in my daily driver and not a single issue.
I got a red tiger and it’s fine. It’s not just dash cams though, building CCTV will do a lot more for you than just a dashcam if you park in the same place all the time and establish patterns in how and where you park. I could prove to the day when and how I was hit with a building cam, dashcam didn’t have footage back far enough.
