Rexing - M2-4 4-Channel Mirror Dash Cam

Wow. I love my Rexing. Started with the M1 and upgraded to the M2 two years ago. I have had a Rexing in my car for 5 years now and recommend it to anyone who asks me about it.

Have a Rexing M2 install by Best Buy. The rear camera is mounted above my license plate. Amazon sells a mount tor the rear camera that mounts behind the plate, no need for drilling holes. No blind spots have a 170 degree view. best to have the wires attached to the car system. My dash cam was installed 2 day after I brought my 2017 Malibu, Never had any problems with it. The main unit mounts on the rear view mirror with straps. I tell everyone it protect's you from rear end collision. That's the main reason why I got it for.

I have a 2025 Forester Touring with Rexing 4 (front, rear, and side cameras) love it as you can adjust the two side cameras. Mine are adjusted so if someone hits me in the sides or tries to enter my doors. It also records while vehicle off and if hit or bumped. Purchased and installed by Best Buy.

Rexing is a good brand for dashcams. I have them in both of our vehicles. 4 channel to cover front, back, and sides.

I bought all my Rexing dashcams before joining this sub. I'm not defending them, but I do have a different experience. I'm currently running 3 with no issues. These 3 were purchased between 2021 and 2022. The very first Rexing I got lasted a little over a year, but that one had a battery. It still worked, actually, but the parking monitoring did not, so I replaced it. The 3 newer ones all have super capacitors I believe.
