Rexing - R4-RD 4-Channel Dash Cam

For my ‘23 Tacoma, I purchased the Rexing R4 from Best Buy. Also had them install it for $100 extra so as to not have the wires hanging loosely inside the cab. Also comes with the rear camera and the ability to record while the truck is off. I have the Rexing R4, I got it from Best Buy for $250, it was on sale normally $320. It records the front, rear, interior, sides of the vehicle, as well as record speed, time and location.

It’s the R4 Plus dash, it doesn’t say how much power it uses, but google says 5 to 10 watts. Which isn’t a lot.

I have a 2025 Forester Touring with Rexing 4 (front, rear, and side cameras) love it as you can adjust the two side cameras. Mine are adjusted so if someone hits me in the sides or tries to enter my doors. It also records while vehicle off and if hit or bumped. Purchased and installed by Best Buy.

I bought all my Rexing dashcams before joining this sub. I'm not defending them, but I do have a different experience. I'm currently running 3 with no issues. These 3 were purchased between 2021 and 2022. The very first Rexing I got lasted a little over a year, but that one had a battery. It still worked, actually, but the parking monitoring did not, so I replaced it. The 3 newer ones all have super capacitors I believe.
