I got a Rexing V1P 4k front and rear with add a fuse parking kit for 159 off Amazon. Not under 150 but close enough to consider.

First, anything is better than nothing. Second, is kind of costs a lot to have a really good dashcam. I consider a cam good if it can clearly see plates at night and in regular situations. I have a rexing dual “4k” which doesn’t look 4k but gives you a single sd card and power cable for a front and rear camera. My only actual suggestion is: get at least any dash cam. If possible, Get front and rear.

Same here. I think it's a Rexing V1P, front and rear camera. Front is 1080p, rear 720p. It saved me once already cause a guy backed into me at a stop sign, and he claimed I rear ended him. It's a solid camera. My only complaint is the app for it sucks SO bad, it's barely usable. It takes 30 minutes to connect, and when it finds the video it buffers every 2 seconds when you're trying to watch it. Luckily it has an SD card slot, so it I ever need to see something I can pop that out and load it onto a laptop or phone that way.

You can use a synchronized system, such as the Rexing V1P. There's a forward facing, primary camera, which is connected directly to 12v power, and a rear facing, secondary camera, that plugs into the first camera and the cable is routed above your headliner. Then both cameras will power on together and record simultaneously.

Sorry for the rant. I use a Rexing V1P with a front and rear module and a 256GB card. The whole thing is less than $200 and it works great.

This sub really likes Viofo for budget. I have had good luck with Rexing. I just installed my 4th Rexing V1P. The first one only lasted a couple years due to the internal battery failing. The last 3 all have super capacitors. The oldest one is still going since July 2021.

I bought all my Rexing dashcams before joining this sub. I'm not defending them, but I do have a different experience. I'm currently running 3 with no issues. These 3 were purchased between 2021 and 2022. The very first Rexing I got lasted a little over a year, but that one had a battery. It still worked, actually, but the parking monitoring did not, so I replaced it. The 3 newer ones all have super capacitors I believe.

r/Dashcam • Do not buy Rexing. Maybe you already know this. I didn’t and I regret it. ->

I have a Rexing dashcam from best buy and its been amazing so far, will say I dont know what model exactly but I do remember it was $180 with hardwire installation because they were running a sale at the time on the dash cam. Its a dual cam model with front 4k 60fps and rear 1080p 60fps and its generally a pretty decent relatively cheaper option where quality isnt sacrificed for price. Because in my opinion if you go any cheaper the quality just gets bad on dashcams because they have to make compromises to make the cameras cheap.

i got a rexing because it was on sale for front+rear, but viofo probably better. although the rexing literally made the same startup sounds and has the same interface as the viofo so its probably the same thing just different branding.

I use the Rexing Dual cam. Reliable and fairly priced at Target.
