this is what i use - it has wifi for easy file transfer, gps which can be written on the recording and a good camera for both inside and front view. It doesnt have bluetooth and I have not attempted to connect it to the uber app - nor will I. My recordings are to protect me from both the riders and uber - so I do not share with either. I have had a Rexall V3 Pro for almost 5 years now. I installed it myself while still living in Florida. Has no issues last year in the winter here and so far no issues this year. All in I was at $250 I think. Front, rear, SD card, and power pack. Took about an hour and a half in my Murano.

I use the Rexing Dual cam. Reliable and fairly priced at Target.

I bought all my Rexing dashcams before joining this sub. I'm not defending them, but I do have a different experience. I'm currently running 3 with no issues. These 3 were purchased between 2021 and 2022. The very first Rexing I got lasted a little over a year, but that one had a battery. It still worked, actually, but the parking monitoring did not, so I replaced it. The 3 newer ones all have super capacitors I believe.
