Road Angel - Halo Pro

You guys should try the road angel halo pro, 4k quality and includes parking mode so recording when car isn’t on too, just got mine installed by Halfords and it’s awesome

One thing I would stress is that get a dash cam that’s easy to pull footage out from. When I mean easy I mean requires no thought process at all. I have a road angel halo pro and the app is easy to use but can be slightly glitchy at times. When I was hit by a third party, those small glitches caused me to completely lose my head and crash because of the adrenaline I had. I managed to retrieve the footage but it took me far longer than it should’ve.

I have the Road Angel Halo Pro. No screen and wired in. I think for your £250 budget all the options will be similar. In any case good call. I am amazed more people haven't got Dash Cams yet given the quality of driving nowadays.

Iv got that dashcam and the app is dreadful. Apart from that it's pretty good 👍

Avoid next base.. bought a Halo form Argos been superb

Halo pro from Argos £200 front and rear cameras easy to install been absolutely flawless, fast quick connection fast downloads onto the app on your phone. More money than £50 but well worth It

I have the halo front and rear. I recommend you don't get it. The rear is always darker then it should be. The front always has over exposure when the sun is in front. They don't make cpl filters for road angel cameras either. The app in my opinion is crap. I have a relatively decent, mid range phone and it doesn't work. I can't download clips, viewing the footage back is very laggy. The app is honestly useless to me, other than viewing live, which works. I have to remove the SD card and stick it in my laptop to view the footage. The app is never updated, neither is the camera firmware. I've also had issues with the hard wire kit failing (official) and the camera messing up the SD card. I had to format it again and lose all my data before the camera would recognise it again. All in all, avoid Road Angel or Halo cameras.

Just want to say, I've got a Halo Dashcam, and if you're looking for one, I wouldn't bother. Dashcam is great, but their app is crap

I got a Road Angel Halo. Hardwired into the ignition, has a parking mode, decent cameras and pretty easy to access the footage.

I've got a halo camera in mine. Can connect via USB or they sell hard wire kits. I've only got the front, but you can get a rear camera as an addon. Quality is pretty good, can read numbers plates fairly easily. And you can connect Via WiFi to download clips directly to your phone. Bought it in halfords last year for around £100.
