I have the Rove R3 and I love it! The app kinda sucks but it’s useable and the main reason why I got it. Figured it’s better to connect to an app than having to load the SD card onto the computer. 3 camera system, front, rear and cabin
I’ve used ROVE for 5 years now. Currently running the R3 (front, cabin, and rear) and love it. Touch screen is very responsive, high quality video, and easy to download videos from app to phone quickly!
Are you looking to hardwire it? Im quite happy with my r3 and r2 dual pro in my newer car, they both seem to do the job and comes with super high retina resolution and app is flawless with latest update. I love parking mode and voice guidance feature and customer service is above par.
I have the rove R3. Hardlined in. Been very good to me. Though rove has updated other models. But having 3 channels front back and inside is a good peace of mind.
I’ve had the Rove R3 for about two years. No issues with the dash cam, works well. They have improved the app but I think it runs better on android phones.
I have a Rove R3. It’s a 3 channel dash cam. I have no complaints. The new version of the R2 is 4k front and rear. The app is ok, I believe it works better on android phones than on iPhone.
You can buy a CPL filter for the rove, I bought one for my R3 and it does help with the brightness. Project farm also rated red tiger and cool crazy above the rove. I’ve never heard of cool crazy and if you do a search on here for red tiger, you’ll find many people don’t like it. I think for the money the rove is a good choice. You can also use the Amazon basics micro sd card for rove, it’s a recommended alternative from them.
