I have the thinkware F200 Pro. Affordable and you can wirelessly connect to the dashcam and view footage in less than 30 seconds in the event on an “accident” on their app. 200$ CAD and it has front and rear camera. Well worth it…I’ve had to use it a couple times now. You can get it off AMAZON and it’s a reputable brand, up there with Garmin.

I have a friend who works for Geek Squad/Best Buy doing car installations. He wired my Thinkware F200 Pro, tapped into the fuses. Supplies constant power for recording while parked.

I believe my friend has a NextBase, I have a Thinkware, and I installed a Viofo on my parents car. Haven't heard of any complaints from my friend. I'm super happy with my Thinkware (F200 Pro, very minimalist). I haven't touched the Viofo since I installed it, it had some problems at first but I think it works fine.

I had some visual anomalies going on where the display would show the blackness of night as all green. I think it was a firmware update that fixed it right up. I like my Thinkware because it is very minimal. I don't need to have a small screen showing me what the camera sees, glowing at night. It's slim and low-profile. I don't need cloud storage or fancy access of the camera from wherever I am in the world. If I need footage, I sit in the car and use its wifi, or pop the sd card and use my laptop. Having a dashcam is a peace of mind. I had an Amazon driver park in front of me, then proceeded to hit my car twice while backing out. Luckily I had a passerby leave a note, but the video footage was enough for me to get a brand new bumper cover for two smaller scratches. I was also rear ended while stationary and pushed into a pickup truck. My car was totalled, and it helped me be at no-fault for being too close to the pickup truck.

I use both Papago N291 S, and Thinkware F200 Pro. They are probably “outdated” by everyone’s specs but they do me justice, both with accidents and recording random situations, or scenic roads.

i have a F200 pro in one of my cars. now discontinued but it has been in two accidents and I’ve never had a problem getting footage from it. The newer models are even better. I actually plan on doing a new model or nicer model in the car that has been wrecked twice. Not because it doesn’t work anymore, but just because it seems this car has bad luck and I might like better footage. And then I’ll just put the F 200 in my new beater car. I think I am the biggest dealer for thinkware in my state at this point. Not sure how that happened but I like the company and the products are good. I won’t use anything else they have saved my ass on four occasions

Have an older Thinkware F200 Pro that I've been pretty happy with. It's an older model, honestly if it's still in production because I bought it in late 2023. It's a little sluggish to log into to view and download videos, but has been mostly reliable in it's daily recording, rewriting of the SDcard, and neatly fits behind my mirror so it's not in my line of site while still getting a full field of view. The rear is pretty clear, could be better as far as clarity. Had been solid since I got it for $150ish about 2.5 yrs ago.

Look at a Garmin 67w, had this in our 2022 Outback before it got totalled. Using a Thinkware Q200 in the new 2025 outback, it has front and rear cameras. We are using the Thinkware F200 pro in our 2019 Crosstrek, also has front and rear cameras.
