I have the Thinkware F70 Pro. It’s 1080p, captures video while parked and can be viewed on your phone. Relatively cheap at around $100. I hardwired mine which is an extra accessory. Fairly easy to install with YT tutorials. Picture is clear, and it does its job.

Just bought two on Amazon for our cars. They had the THINKWARE F70 PRO on sale for $80, has good reviews, has an app for easy access of footage, so landed on that one. Just waiting on some one time use clips to come in for the Subaru’s A Pilar trim, and then I’ll get installin’!

> I was getting annoyed with having to take the memory card out each time. I feel ya. I had one on my last car that was fine, reliable, I just wanted to be able to get access to the recordings with my phone. The f70 pro will use their app now. I did look at the vantrue and like them, I just needed something a little more cost effective where I needed to buy two.

I like thinkware so I’d say the F70 Pro is a good all around camera for about 80 or so

Thinkware F70 PRO is what I run. It has crash detection, manual, and full tike recording. In the app, you can live view and watch back old recordings. You can download any recording off the app onto the internal storage (Micro SD Card)

**Best Budget (Solo Cam):** * DDPAI Mini Pro ($30-40 USD) * 70mai Smart Dash Cam 1S ($32-40 USD) * 70mai Dash Cam 3 M200 ($50 USD) - STARVIS 2 IMX662 * Viofo A119 v3 ($70-100 USD) * THINKWARE F70 PRO Dash Cam ($80 USD) The cheap <$50 ones are very discreet because they don't have a display screen. They're just a small round barrel type, very easy to hide if you mount it next to/in front of the rear view mirror.

I was also able to hide the power cable and you can't see it. I wasn't going to tie that cheap of a camera into my wiring..... .... Survived two hot as hell summers and still going.

I have a thinkware f70. It's hardwired to my fuse box and set on parking mode

Not the person above, but I use a thinkware f70. It's nothing fancy, no rear cam, but it takes good quality footage.

I like the basic Thinkware F70. It’s small and well built. Good optical quality. The F200 has rear camera.

I’ve done three of them, one being in my Outback. I’d rate it as relatively easy. If you’ve seen the videos, you know about running the wire to the fuse panel. Most important step is the piggybacking of the fuses with a fuse tap and picking a proper constant and a proper switched fuse space. Get a cheep tester. My preference is Thinkware with wifi for less than $200. F70 is just fine. Scorching summer sun to winter deep freeze, I’ve never had an issue with a Thinkware camera. You don’t need the expense of a built in screen on the camera. If you ever need access to a video, you can easily grab it by wifi. Honestly in three years I think I needed to access a video once. You think you’ll view videos it all the time, but you won’t.
