Thinkware - F70 PRO

Thinkware is good one. Got one on both cars. If you’re looking for budget friendly options then F70Pro if you want mid range the I recommend F200

They're just a small round barrel type, very easy to hide if you mount it next to/in front of the rear view mirror.

Thinkware F70 pro, front camera only, extremely reliable and sold by dealerships for various manufacturers. I didn’t want to record myself nor did I want a back camera.

I like the basic Thinkware F70. It’s small and well built. Good optical quality. The F200 has rear camera.

I’ve done three of them, one being in my Outback. I’d rate it as relatively easy. If you’ve seen the videos, you know about running the wire to the fuse panel. Most important step is the piggybacking of the fuses with a fuse tap and picking a proper constant and a proper switched fuse space. Get a cheep tester. My preference is Thinkware with wifi for less than $200. F70 is just fine. Scorching summer sun to winter deep freeze, I’ve never had an issue with a Thinkware camera. You don’t need the expense of a built in screen on the camera. If you ever need access to a video, you can easily grab it by wifi. Honestly in three years I think I needed to access a video once. You think you’ll view videos it all the time, but you won’t.
